    Hi all,
Is anyone here familiar with installing and running the Cinesample sound libraries in Windows? I purchased their encrypted Tina Guo Acoustic Cello vol. 2 cello library, when it was on special.
Downloaded ok and everything seems to be there, including the serial code.
After the purchase, in hindsight, I was told by one of Cinesample's support people that I needed to connect my PC to Native Instruments Access to register the serial code.

However, my Audio PC is a Windows-7 32 bit machine that is (deliberately) not internet capable.
What now? I'm wallowing around in the options without a clear idea of a next step, if any.
I imagine Native Instruments Access wants to lock/code the library to my recipient machine in some way.

BTW: This library needs to be used by Kontakt 5.6.8+

I'd be seriously thankful for any pointers!

I guess this is with legit Kontakt?
You are going to have to get that system online.
Also, no libs are encrytpted. That's why we can use them in a cracked Kontakt...

    Thanks @Smoove Grooves
Kontakt is from the sister site. I bought cello library because it was cheaper deal and because, with our broadband speeds, it would take me a month of sundays to d/l from sister. Don't remember where, but in my frenzied reading I saw that this library was encrypted. Maybe its only encryption is so it can be used by Kontakt?

Update your Kontakt to 6.4.0. Look for Sunny´s post at sister site (about 140 mb.) when done just use the function "add library". Any doubt you can PM me. Good luck.

    Indeed...or rather 'legit Kontakt'!
If, as you say, you already have Kontakt from sister site, you are good to go.
    Not required. 5.6.8+
And OP said already had Kontakt from sister site.

Thank you @Smoove Grooves and @rudolph
I'm totally stoked! A question that came up with rudolph's post: my version of Kontakt is portable. Will rudolph's update integrate with that?

Definitely not. My suggestion isn´t portable. Haven´t you tried to add the library via the "manage libraries" function ?

    I understand it.
internet from mobile device via usb-cable?...
ok, nevermind. everyone understands perfectly the reason why your PC is not internet capable.

but I can't understand the other things:
    1. you prepared your PC for pirated software. apparently you have personal experience, but at the same time you have never installed libraries for kontakt?
    2. serial code registration - is NOT serial code activation. you can register your serial code using any other computer with internet connection (this code will be linked to your NI account). activation will be performed when installing the library. activation requires an Internet connection on the computer on which the library is installed. it's just useful information for you.
    3. why did you buy the software if you are going to use a pirated copy anyway? this library has been available on the Internet for a long time and it's not a problem to download it. even with a 50% discount, the cost of the library is $ 49 (excluding tax). the sales season is coming soon, and with this money it would be possible to buy something that is not yet available for free.

if you have a desire to purchase a license for other libraries (from cinesamples or other developers), then it is better to contact me - it will be even cheaper.

    you're wrong.

Thanks @Talula. I appreciate your know-how and pragmatism. As you've probably guessed, I'm a slow learner and I totally don't know the stuff that others here seem to grasp easily and quickly.

I'll keep your library offer in mind, thank you.

Well, I'm pleased to report that, with all credit to the helpful folks here, I got my legal Cinesample library working in Kontakt. Wonderful! It's a start!

Over the years I've made many mistakes with purchased software. Some of it did what was promised and some of it did not. I've also had a number of more expensive instances (including Microsoft etc) that have nuked my (then online) audio system and reduced it to frozen blue-screen rubble and unintelligible error messages, leaving me to pick up the pieces and often taking me back to square1. I decided enough already!

I try to keep in mind what many of the R2R-style groups suggest, "If it works and you like it go buy it and support the developers".
