Put a song you like in the arranger view of your Daw.
    Copy the arrangement.
    Listen to the transitions..
    Make your song.

this is the only way imo , Study the music you like , you will learn alot of stuff and techniques you will never find in any course

This is the best way to learn. Watching tutorials and other people make music is not going to help in the beginning.

Hear your song inside your head, try to sing it, find the lyrics and write them, adjust the lyrics with your melody and record it in a daw or even in a phone. Once you have done all of this, playback your song and try to figure out what can fill the silences between words. Imagine what instruments can do this and sing the instruments phrases. Record these phrases in other channels and hear how they sound as a whole. Now you have begin your first arrangement of a song, It´s a hard road but can be easier if you have a real talent and not only a desire to be famous, pick up some girls, etc. In my opinion playing an instrument and writing
a little music is vital, but... Maybe she can help you. https://www.masterclass.com/classes/st-vincent-teaches-creativity-and-songwriting ( It´s also at the sister site ) Good luck...

Some of the greatest musicians out there started here before the internet. They have some free online couses now. https://online.berklee.edu/free-music-course-resources However, I have been a musician all my life, and I still find it to be difficult to compose a song. I have some, but for me, most of them were difficult to complete. Every once in a while though, an idea for a song flows to completion by itself.
