As per the title, it seems 6.4.0 still doesn't recognize some of the installed libraries
in particular, I've found it doesn't see "ethno world 6"
I suppose we're stuck on 6.2.2 for another month or so

I didn't have a problem with Ethno World Pro 6 with v6.4.0 -- I did, however, roll back to v6.3.2 because of the whole "BETA" thing, which I'm not entirely convinced ever got fixed. Did you make a custom .nicnt file for Ethno World Pro 6 (which is supposed to stay in the "Best Service Ethno World 6" folder and should show up in your Libraries tab as two different libraries ("Ethno World 6 - Instruments Library" and "Ethno World 6 - Voices Library")? The Best Service stuff is incredibly finicky about where it goes in your Kontakt folder. If you've altered it in any way, I'd recommend that you remove it via v 5.6, delete the Ethno World 6 .xmls ("~/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/Ethno World 6 Instruments.xml" and "~/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/Ethno World 6 Voices.xml"), set it back up the way it was originally (like I just described above) and try re-adding it via v5.6.

why, do you need to make a custom made .nicnt?? I used the one that was provided with the library

I never touch the default .nicnt/.xml files, I simply add the librairies from Kontakt 5.6.0 standalone desktop version and then the librairies show up in Ableton/Kontakt 6.4.0

I had an issue w Kontakt where my organization of folders was causing an issue. I had some "/" in my folder names and that was throwing Kontakt off. Example: Strings/Orch I tried everything to fix it with .nicnt & .xml files. Nothing worked until someone mentioned they'd discovered this issue with folder naming. So I changed mine to Example: Strings Orch. Fixed it for me... 6.4.0 working well here on Mojave.

Did you read what I said? I basically said "don't do that". I asked if you had created a custom .nicnt for a library that already has a factory version, as stuff like that often contributes to your library not showing up in certain versions of Kontakt. Obviously, if you haven't done that, the problem lies elsewhere.
