i finally gave up few years ago, and bought the real thing ... never look back.

 

Same - the constant having to re-enter serial numbers got on my tits and I just bought it.

As far as I know, this is the only (recent) Serum release that (still) works.
Serum 1.301 for macOS (VST+AU) (K'd - co4nda)

Hmz, strange indeed. And it's exactly the same release? Because it was posted at this forum by co4nda himself (not on the sister site afaik).

 

Sounds very weird, but it's perfectly possible with complex timebombs.
Fabfilter now famous timebomb is the perfect example. There's people working with the 2019.3 release without problems but it's a fact that all bundles with ProQ3 have timebombs not fixed.

Hmmm... I am using the FabFilter.Total.Bundle-R2R-2018.11.30 and it has the Pro Q3 but it has not bombed for me yet.
I thought the 2018.11.30 was reported good, but ...maybe it just took some more time for bombs to reveal

 

It seems people posting for help would put a BIT MORE effort into their post.

Is it laziness? Is it that they really don't care? Is it impatience?
Is it that everything has been too easy for them in life?

Perhaps life has been hard for them ... and maybe it's due to a genetic predisposition towards creativity at the expense of order and conscientiousness ?
And might those factors have something to do with why their install is not working?

And the one before that was from cashmere if I'm correct.
Although I have to admit that I did read some messages about timebombs in a R2R release from early 2019 I think it was (but didn't install it at that time). So I guess it's also system related if something works or not.
Anyway, back to the subject of this thread.

Perfectly possible like I said.
I spent quite some time digging in this issue and the latest one no one has had timebombs is the 2018.02. Bummer, I know.
I use the last release (2020.06) but keep that oldie just in case.
