How to keep riff bpm in Ample Guitar?

    Win10 Pro x64, Ample Sound AME v3.10, VST3 (but VST2 works the same).
    Your settings? I think your (lame :P ) pic reminds me of v2

    Seems then the differences are from the Ample Sound versions.
    Though I still don't know if this helps with OP's issue.

    I tried it first with the latest version and it didn't work somehow. I solved it by fixing the tempo of the drums instead. Thanks all!

    Genuinely nice to hear that you've got what you wanted. Definitely all that really matters.

    But would also have been nice if you had tested what I suggested.
    So, back to DIY. I just tested it in Studio One v4
    See right click menu on any selected midi region (do they call them regions in Studio One?)
    There's a "Toggle Time Lock" option.
    It works exactly as I described before. Every bit as simple as in Logic. Three steps and you're done.
    Took less than five minutes to find and test and I'm relatively clueless about Studio One.
    (I guess that's a plus point for Studio One accessibility)

    You're so right and this is actually one of Studio One's main selling points.

    You can almost instantly do things just right-clicking and dragging around.
