Just for educational purpose, Big Sur is a place as others have mentioned in the thread.
But maybe you already know. Can't tell.

I know. I'm someone that actually reads the comments. What's your point?

Btw, it's "used to" in the past tense, or "use' in the present tense.
And it's Sur with one r.
But maybe you already know. Can't tell.

Wow. All from these two comments I made, you think I sound like a serious cyber bully? Nah! That means it's you holding the neg, bro!

The person you quoted didn't seem to understand why 'Big Sur' is a name for an OS, due to what his observation was.
This was pointed out by people in the thread.
You come along and said the same sort of thing, so I simply and imo helpfully said:
So even if you did or didn't know, your 'joke' is pointless really.
Then you decide to carry it on and communicate with me, slightly terse, trying to tell me what I already know!
You didn't have to answer! I was just stating the truth. And your answer was not related, and seemed defensive of something.
So then I say my second communication:
along with some English language pointers. To an Indian person. Because you make out like I can't read!

If you weren't trying to make a point as you say, why respond? I already understood what you responded to the person you quoted.
And it was related to a misunderstanding of Big Sur!

So, see that it's you who has the attitude here. You know it.
So actually it's you who needs to take it easy. That's my order of the day for you.
You cannot possibly believe I'm a serious person or a serious cyber bully from TWO comments!, but you just feel hurt somehow and are now attempting to gaslight unaffectively. Don't even try.
You can't feel me through my words yet. Maybe one day. But your assumption is wrong right now.
    Good day to you.

    ps.
Btw, labelling me as a "cyber bully' is offensive to me. Please read the rules, and keep negative thoughts to yourself if you don't want to expect negative ratings for labelling somebody.
Everything I've said here is from my pov and observation. You do not need to agree, but just leave it.

Hey , you started nailing me to the wall , with things that you thought i didn't know , then picking on my English writing , all this for what
Proving or showing off your grandeur and your grammar by putting people down on a forum, is a "Bully"

"Btw, labelling me as a "cyber bully' is offensive to me. Please read the rules"

    you still sound like one.

    and this
"and keep negative thoughts to yourself if you don't want to expect negative ratings for labelling somebody."

This Sounds like a threat. By someone who feels has superior authority.

and no i was never defending myself , i was being assertive.

If admins see me asserting is a problem here , and its off topic on Big sur and music community .

But sheds light on how some members are treated then they will read this thread . and if they remove me i'll happily depart.
Will stop writing but will be able to read the topics , which is fine by me.

So you have a good day , and let Admins decide.

    It's all fine.
Please just read the site rules.
I will always enforce them. I am not sorry for this either.
There is nothing to let "Admins decide". I don't know what you mean.

You "feel" that I "feel" I have "superior authority"! That's awesome.
I wish that were true, and again your labelling is incorrect.
    Please just leave it.

Btw, not off-topic regards talking of the name Big Sur. It's the thread title, and in which case all the people that responded to lancexx's comment would be ot too. But they aren't.
OT is not related to warning points or a bannable offense.
Yet you labelling me with a non-justifiable slanderous term actually is on the warning points list!
Hence why I say it's better for you if you don't do that on this site! Not a threat! :deep_facepalm:
And all because of this comment! haha.
I think you should read the comments before you reply to a thread. Just saying.

    Good day to you.

I want to rest my case ,and this argument is not positive at all its a wordy brawl.
    my mistakes , just saying
    - I shared a counter joke , about how teachers are called Sir ji
    - i spelled Surr oh sorry sur wrong
    - i used 'use' instead of 'Used' as spellings
    - i have attitude
    - i don't have a point to make
    - i make non-justifiable slender
    - i didn't read the comments before replying

i get it i just need to leave it. i called you out and that offended you.
But i must highlight, maybe you don't mean it but Don't try to put people down like that on a forum.
    Please Don't be that Guy.
    Peace

Well, both are correct! You could have been saying it in the present tense. But also I have highly educated Indian and Tibetan friends educated in India who still get these two wrong. And I was just pointing it out! Should be no problem, imo. Sorry if that offended you, as I wasn't calling you out for it. I just wanted to mention it! I am pedantic. I don't really like being like this either!
Well, you accused me of being something that I would not have expected in the circumstances, so yes I was offended. Obviously. I should be able to talk freely without people being offended, if I talk from the heart with no ill intentions. Same for you. But it has to be based in reality, not "feely" stuff from half way around the world.
Words do not always work for all people in this text based world. I understand.
Yes, noted. Thank you. Others have said the same to me.
I don't mean it, or how you chose to perceive it.
I was not trying to put you down.
    Peas!

While it's ARM compatible, it's not a standard spec and so they can either make a dedicated controller for Thunderbolt support or just roll it into the chip they are working on.

Anyhow they have confirmed it's being supported, just not on the devkits. (They've been quite adamant for devs not to even bother benchmarking the devkits, so it's definitely not final tech - simply a go-between using easily accessible tech)

Any news about a release date yet?
I'm still on Majave 10.14.6 but want to upgrade to Catalina 10.15.7 just before it's not available anymore in the software-update section and keep that one for a while. Making the switch from Mojave to Big Sur seems not wise because it always takes a few months before all tools are compatible. And even that's no guarantee (one of the reasons why I still use Mojave).

you can (and should) download the complete latest Catalina installer, something like dosdude's patcher can do it, and you're left with full Catalina installer .app in Applications folder you can move anywhere you want for later use
