Hi Everyone so I've changed my artist name for good reason.

I've been signed by a Label! A small label but none the less an exciting step.

This track is what got me signed and I'm keen to share it for feedback from everyone here and get it heard!

Just looked up CT12 Recordings, but they don't have a website, just FB and BC pages.
So, what do they do? What did you sign with them for, publishing or recording?

 

It's a new label set up last month to help me with mastering and promo

 

hmmm. Just don't sign both publishing & recording under the same roof, obviously.

 

The idea is my friend set up the label for his own productions and is taking on other artists in the local area with a view of getting heard and airtime

 

Oh, so it's a label? How does he "take on" artists, if not through publishing or recording?
I am interested, but all I'm saying is be careful.
You can do yourself what your friend has done. And then newbs will come to you with their music, probably.
Just set up your own publishing company for your own music, then you have more strength & leeway when it comes to making an income.

I like the track! The main phrasing is nice and bouncy... I'm not a fan of the noises and whooshes as they seem to overshadow the main message (my personal opinion only). They run through the length of the track and IMHO would be more effective if peppered intermittently through the song as opposed to being a mainstay.

Does that label accept crypto, and what is the label royalty percentage towards the artist?
