These so called "elite" DJ's get P.A.I.D because they play some of the biggest festivals around the globe. Also because they stay in the dance/pop side of the spectrum when they produce, which is fucking huge, all things considered.


Its quite simple. The more mainstream, the more people listen, the more people listen, the more radio stations play your tunes, the more airplay you get, the more gigs you get, the more gigs you get, the more festivals want to book you. All that equals a constant stream of illuminati style revenue because nowadays its all about what you get doing your thing live.

I think there is illuminati style money for producers. You just gotta make mainstream style music in multiple genres though.

The real mystery is how firefighters can barely keep afloat yet greasy little shits like Skrillex are cleaning up. I mean these people run into places others are running out of and do we reward them for their tireless service? And I must say I once saw a video where Deadmau5 was acting like people think he's rich but he said he doesn't really make that much, I didn't believe him then and I certainly don't believe him now. If you're making that much money, you're rich...I don't know what his definition is exactly but give me that money once (they're making it 100 times over) and I'll make it last. I don't need all that flash, I'd give some to my family and close friends, donate some to worthy causes, buy some new equipment, a nice apartment or house somewhere and live without feeling like life can collapse at any given moment. Buy myself a little breathing room. And I'd rather die than make music for brainless automatons that will help in killing culture for another decade. Underground, that's where it's at.

I feel like it's been going on for a lot longer than that but yes it seems to have gotten worse recently. It's really sad and I feel like I relieve that shit every day, I'm just floating in a sea of brainless faceless twits and I want out. I guess the best I can do is show people what real music sounds like so that they can possibly connect to something greater than whatever trash is for sale at the moment.

 

I see it with my own family. Parents are mind fucked by countless doctrines while the television raises their children. Prescription pills, soda, aspartame, fast food, fluoride and so many other harmful things people put inside of their bodies that obviously don't serve the body or the mind. People are desperately trying to escape the reality they know deep down inside is false. Some point out a few things here and there but yet are still completely oblivious to the fact that reality IS an illusion and one that has been manufactured. Inevitably people will go searching to fill this void and maybe find their minds trapped in religious dogma, drugs, pornography, promiscuity ect. Just when you think it's gotten absolutely out of hand the brain dead masses then ask for more.

Most people dont want to explore music, thats why they just listen to the shit in the radio. Everybody likes it, so you can safely like it too without having to be scared of unacceptability by your friends.
Than there are many who dont want to feel like the rest, although they are. So they try to search for something different, but because they actually dont want to expore music either, they mostly end up with the typical "individuell" genres like Punk, Metal, Indie Rock, Gangsta Rap or something like that. "Oh wow, I'm listening to music thats not on the radio (in my country), Im so not mainstream dude".

And many of these people talk about "feeling" the music, but its mostly just the bass and a beat, or loud noises, or stupic guitar chords that seem like something meaningfull.

Most people are idiots... Not only when it comes to music, Its pretty similar when it comes to movies. Or media in general.
