I wish :P. So far it's stopping pretty much every ad on every website that I visit. I just hope commercial sites like Youtube and Twitter don't find a bypass for it. If they do then that would be super annoying. I just don't use it to block ads, I also use it to block certain elements of a site I don't like. For eg. I've blocked my world wide trens on my twitter and I've blocked my whole youtube frontpage and the recommendations on the right side of videoes. If you check out my youtube homepage it's literally a white empty space with only the youtube logo :D

Plus the internet feels so much better, cleaner and safer with adblock. It's like the difference between 720p and 240p. KILLER!

Yeah a hundred percent, even on streaming sites where they overlay those stupid ads that look like play buttons but they're really not. People that make those should be killed immediately. I sometimes feel bad using it on sites that depend on advertising revenue but I can't stand advertisements, to me they are everything wrong with humanity in less than a minute. Even worse are video ads where I want to crawl through my monitor and bludgeon them to death.

True, the last thing I wan't is to make the internet feel like I'm watching tv. I don't want any bullshit ads on the sites that I visit. It's my computer, and it is my tool of freedom from the cooperate heads and extroverted assholes that alienate and dumb down society on a daily basis

What really pisses me off is the fact that we pay way too much money for both internet and cable, but we still have to put up with all the ads. Think about when it's 3AM and there's nothin but Paid Programming ads on damn near every channel! WTF?!!?! Why is that not a huge complaint from the consumer? I understand most people are asleep at those hours but just the concept of it alone pisses me the hell off. I understand if it's the CBS/Fox/NBC type channels that you get for free that has ad's. You're not payin for those but the fact it costs me $300+/month out of my pocket, I should be able to turn off ads if I choose that. Am I the only one who feels like that?

it's a give and take thing I guess...you want to watch tv, you gotta deal with them ads. It's the only way TV exists anyway... I just stay away from TV all together... and if it wasn't for average people making videos on youtube...I'd probably stay away from youtube as well... :dunno:
