Checkout this video, it looks like it solves our mutual problem. I checked out the comments of this video and 95% it worked. He show a windows screen but on Mac we just need to check the service centre library and copy the files.

Curious to read the comments..... (i am not able to test it yet)

Haven't watched vid, but you say "copy the files".
Which will probably mean just copying the correct SNPID # from the .nicnt, and pasting it in the .xml where it says <000>.
    And you use TextEdit.

Kontakt 5.* creates a "*.tmp" file on your desktop and that file should be renamed to "library name.xml" and copy that file to the native instruments folder called service centre. Then when you close Kontakt 5.* and re-open it your library will still be there. There is no editing needed of any file

^ @Arjan Not always! But yes, this can happen, and you are correct. Just rename files as .xmI & add to Service Centre. I only started to see .tmp files happen with people on Mojave+. Not myself, due to bootable cloned OS SSD.
Most commonly it's a blank SNPID # in the .xml file after attempt at adding library.

Well i added around 15 libraries now without them dissapearing from kontakt 5.6.0., that is were i add them and while open in Kontakt 5.6.0. i change the tmp file to EXACT the same name as the NICNT name. Then i copy the file and also in Kontakt 6.2.2 they show up!. I am using Catalina on a new Macbook pro. Glad it all works now and hope for everybody it is now ok.

Does not matter if they disappear in 5.6.0. Most will, especially if newer libs. Just for adding libs.
