wellp, as the title says, i need help on recreating these synths:

the main "bassline" literally the synth that shows up at the beggining and that isnt a pad, same with a synth lead thing around 1:29

and this arpy thing:

at the beggining too, im aware this one is a sample, but as i have no clue where is it from i would like to recreate it, im able to use these synths for recreation: Serum, sylenth1, synth1, rob rapen predator

303 with a very mid lofi distortion and lofi tape style saturation.

and some kind of stuttering midi trigger thing to get that rythm

 

though it sounds similar it doesnt really nail the same sound.

 

er yea iknow but if you tweak the preset youll get the sounds but yea it is that sound justeditied slightly just play with sylenths filter and the arp and youll get it. Plus sounds like theyve added further processing too. some bitcrshing on top to give that fizz ( actually sounds like camelphat )

 

well i mean, you do know the game is way older than sylenth right?

i'm not sure but the original sample might have been sampled from a vintage telephone network sound, like the ones u hear in this collection: (@7:10)

 

hmm, no not really, it must be from a dance/trance type of sample library, but i havent been able to trace it correctly, i know that the pokemon tv show used it once too

so it must be in some library from the beggining of 2000s or even 90s, it was prior to 2003 for sure.

 

i guess meng syndicate (1991) had it from a sample cd too. and u mention u wanted to recreate that sound. here's what u get if u use the sonar system sample: https://clyp.it/rfsnbw4y . if it's not close enough then good luck...

 

This sounds pretty analog to me, must be of course it being this old. I am going to throw some in there, just to help you find what yo ur are looking for. To me it sounds like something from Ronald. Maybe the JP-8080 for the Arp thingy. The Lead might be Alpha Juno. The bassline might be something from Moog, I am going to bet with some effort you might be able to recreate it with Diva, because it doesn't sound too difficult. If you really want to re-create, I think you are going to have trial and error.

fine then ok square wave routed to a low pass filter with slight resonance bit of distortion and arp it to taste.
