So, realdebrid still provides the same functionality that it always has and I do enjoy their points system that allows you to get a free month here or there BUT...

Their whole billing system is starting to come off unpleasant. So, first off, they charge you in euros, which then means you have to guess what your true cost will be when they convert. For the 180 day option, it normally comes out to like $18 and some change. But then, that is never final. The charge normally stays pending on your account for like 5-7 days and when they do finally complete the transaction, they normally increase it by a couple cents AND you get charged an additional, separate charge for a currency exchange by your billing institution.

It kind of comes off to me that they kind of wait to send through the final amount until the rates are really in their favor, which means you never see a decrease in the original amount they charged you, always an increase.

Also, they don’t offer PayPal, which I’m guessing must be due to PP having received complaints. Never understand why folks can’t be happy with charging you what they said they would and leaving it at that.

So, with all that said, are there any other sites that provide more transparent billing and some form of customer service (RD has no support line or email)?

I’ve heard about AllDebrid, but don’t know if they’re any better.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just to reiterate, their site is great most of the time but I like transparency when it comes to billing, along with clear support channels.

I use alldebrid. They also offer a points system although I can't say much about long term expectations as I only use it for six weeks or so. But so far it's all working well. Can't say anything about payment in any other currency than Euros as this is my local currency.

They also don't offer PayPal but I think that is because PP has pretty strict rules on what services they support and anything halfway looking shady will not get supported by them. So it really isn't a sign that a service is scamy it's just because the service might be questionable.
But they offer AmazonPay which might be as good for many people.

They also offer a 7 day trial.

I am using debriditalia.com.. it is 24€/year which is pretty good i think. it does have some flaws though but uploaded.to links work 99% of the time.

All great points. Scammy would be the wrong word. I guess those of us across the water have certain different issues to deal with when it comes to using the dollar.

I've been using RPNET (https://premium.rpnet.biz/) for many many years.
Not the cheapest (US$78/year) but paysafe, excellent support, VPN included and most importantly the host I must have with limits that fit my needs (Uploaded -100GB daily limit, Rapidgator -31GB, FileNext- no limit and Hitfile - 5GB)

Now for the last couple months there have been unresolved issues with Rapidgator (although that seems like a global issue),Filenext and suddenly no more support. I suspect it is a one man operation and perhaps the guy has got Covid or something? I can only speculate but forums no longer works too. All I know is my membership is up for renewal and I need to find a new provider.

I'm having a hard time finding the right fit. The cheaper ones (All-debrid, realdebrid) don't support all the hosts I need. Linksnappy looks good but twice the price. Then I came across this one.
    https://maxspeedbox.com
Does anyone have experience with this provider?

I'm also considering deepbrid.com but not too keen with some of the limits. (Filenext - 8gb only)

Just use your credit card and pay in euros. That way you don't pay conversion fees
