I don't understand you can you give some context. I read that thread alot.
I used 7zip and extracted all 15 parts and left with rar file in each folder.

Now you take those 15 .Rar out put them in a separate folder. Once they are in a separate folder you need to unpack them. If you are still getting an error, you need to download it again. If you are successful unpacking them, that is the ISO. You need to extract it, too.

 

Thanks it worked! I didn't know you have to put all the parts in a single folder.

Put all 4.37 GB rar files in same folder and extract using winrar.
You will get a 201806-200.iso file of some 83 gb.
If your winrar unable to extract change setting of winrar for temp folder , select a spacious drive.
Thats it .

Iso inturn further need extraction , best way is to mount it using any disk mounting app, like winmount , ultra iso , poweriso , etc.

You will get omnisphere folder on mounting. Copy it to any place you like.

No need to create shortcut etc.

Just install the omnisphere and exit , launch the keygen patch the omnisphere dll , make sure you do it to two locations one is your plugin directory other is omnisphere installation directory.

Launch the omni , copy challenge code into keygen and from keygen copy response code. Paste that to omni and exit.
You done.
When you launch omni again it will ask you for library directory just point it to it.

You done.

Note :: this iso is not actual iso its just hardrive copy of already installed steam folder.
And carries some 23 gb extra data.
Which cannot be skipped any way as its packed in that way to force every body to download it completely. A simple multi part zip or rar could have been much better option.

You can easily delete that to free up space - point to steam folder delete everything you find in user / third party / zmap files and refresh the multi and patch browser for a breeze experience.

Bro what is your problem with me? Are you in love with my avatar? Did you join this site to criticize the way I explained things, and the way I decide to release things? All you have done since you joined is bitch about the Omnisphere release. The instructions were written like that for a reason. The extra libraries were added to it for another reason. What makes you think I want to be uploading extra GBs of data? Moreover, if you are going to tell people to do things differently from the way the instructions were written , at least give them a full set of instructions. For example, the one about the shortcut. You should had written something like the explanation at https://audiosex.pro/threads/a-solu...you-like-to-locate-it-messages-windows.53530/ so when they can't close Omnisphere, and get those messages they would know what to do, don't freak out and screw things up. Indeed, it is easier to simply create a shortcut. Every once in a while we get people like you here or in AudioZ. I always tell them to take their bitching, and whining elsewhere. Go ahead, and do that.

There are other Omni releases, updates, the whole lot. If you find the particular release has stuff you don't need just erase it, or better yet, DONT DOWNLOAD IT.

MANY people were having problems doing it the other way from ISOs and instructions were in various packages and worded differently. Even when correct, the words used can cause errors by making people forget to "run as admin" or "close window" kinds of things.

Pirate's instructions and folder setup is done as a technical manual writer would do it.
If one takes their time, reads and executes each and every step, word-for-word, it has the greatest chance of success of any release, due to the instructions and folder numbering.

I have my own folders for original install (modified from the original ISOs) and that worked fine for many installs on different machines,
I know the instructions I want to be reminded of, so my instructions are a list of 3 items with 3 words each.
BUT ... when old-timer's disease hits, I want Pirate's release on hand.

I've done this with all his releases I know of for the things I use.
I had them installed, but reinstalled using his setups.
Why?
1) Because i like to see things well-organized
and
2) So I can tell people who bitch and moan to STFU and read the instructions!

 

There are probably more than one way to make this software work, but as this installation is a bit complex, it's better to take one way / one explanation and follow it from start to the end.

If you found another way to install omnisphere, please feel free to create a thread about it, and answer members questions in there.

Move all 15 rar files to a common folder and then extract. You will get your iso.
