    Hi Guys,

I'd like to have your experience opinion about faIRmageddon, if you ever used it.
    https://www.forward-audio.com/fairmageddon/

I'm looking for something like this to edit cabinets IRs.
Or maybe you know another similar program?

Thanks in advance for your comments

    Haven't tried it.
The best alternative about editing IRs, applying effects, Meldaproduction MCabinet. You can even add dynamic eq.

When it comes to combining multiple IRs, RedWirez MixIR2. But from what you ask you'd want MCabinet.

Thank you for your answer, but is it possible to save the result as a new IR with M Cabinbet?
(Side note, Meldaproduction have me blocked, I cant see their site without using a VPN lol)

Edit: Now I see this in their site:
I know RedWirez MixIR2, but you cant create new irs with these programs, and that's what I'm looking for, because I will use these new Irs with an external hardware (Hotone Ampero)

Been there! You can thank R2R's .cmd file that goes with the fix for that. Check your hosts file

MixIr2 was the first plugin that allowed to save the combined IRs as one wav. And you can combine them in parallel (usual cabinet IR case) or serial (add a nice reverb)[IMG] .

Oh that price is waaay to much for an IQ loader and some teaser IR's if they had given some full IR packs (say 3-4 that you could pick yourself of course) with the purchase it would be OK but sget ome teasers no way i would buy an IR loader for that price.

There are cheaper plugins like Libra i think it cost around 30-50 i bought it for 30 $ (And hey its on the sister site :) ) it has an X/Y pad sort of thing but no virtual analog EQ modules and no EQ matching

And the recently released Audio Assault air Impulse loader intro price is 9$ it can do everything this can except EQ matching and it doesn't have a X/Y pad it has a Mix knob on every IR module instead

MixIR3 and old MixIR2 about 30-50 $ it uses sliders to blend different IR's has everything except EQ matching it also has impediance IR (mimic the input impediance of an amp) which no othe plugins has
Mix IR 2 is discountinued but people say its better than the new 3 as the 3 is still buggy.
And there is of course Mcabinet which i havent tested yet.

I havent seen EQ matching in any other IR loader but you can of course use an EQ plugin that have EQ matching.

Picked up faIRmageddon when it was free and it's ok! If you want to combine IR's and save the result though STL Libra is perfect! You can load up to 8 IR's at once and the "cabs" are shown on the screen in a birds-eye view where you can move around the position of the listener, which is very nice, and when you found the perfect spot you can save that to a new IR!

There's also the aIR Impulse Rack by Audio Assault. It really works as a rack, you can load impulses in series, parallel, add delay after delay, eq, watch the impulse curve at every step in between, etc... It ain't in sister site (yet?) but it is fairly priced. 10 dollars. (now I see it was mentioned above already, haha, let me just state that I like it, and yes, it can export the resulting IR).

Thank you for your suggestions. Does one of the vst that you mention that does automatic phase alignment?
That's one of the function of faIRmageddon that called my attention as it can be tricky to do by hand.

    Hello guys

Big thanks for all your explanations and suggestions.

After I tried almost all the programs you mentioned, unless Meldaproduction MCabinet as for some reason the patching failled.
I went for Libra , but I rapidly missed an EQ

So finally I bought aIR Impulse Rack by Audio Assault for 10 bucks. And it's perfect. Easy to use, good results...
