Hello friends, how are you? .... :shalom:

This time I want to share the continuation the rest of the 5 old tracks that I'm currently working on ... There are 4 tracks that I haven't shared yet ...

For Track #5, can be heard in this Thread:
    https://audiosex.pro/threads/track-5-with-a-variety-of-loudness.52189/
Maybe you can leave a comment there too about what you think ...

But first, again, I would like to say thank you to master @No Avenger for all his help during all this time giving a lot of very super duper advice ... I am very helped ...
Thank you master No Avenger ...:bow::bow:

And here are the songs ...
    Track #1

    Track #2

    Track #3

    Track #4

Yes, those are all my old songs with a mixture of old and new material ...
Because there are some things that make me not have time to work on these songs seriously for years ...

I also don't know for sure what genre of my four tracks as a whole ... Maybe Pop Rock? But I try to bring out what I've thought before ...

I recorded and made all the instruments at home ... Vocal Tracks were recorded by my partner as usual ....
I mixing and finished/mastering this song by my self too ...
Everything is produced using the same gear and in the box ...

What do you think of all that songs?
Constructive criticism and suggestions are very welcome ...

I also included a poll ... Just for fun and based on what you hear from my songs ...

Thank you for your time and attention ...

Have a good day to you all.... :winker:
    Cheers

    Great work!

I feel like you're over-hyping the high frequencies in all your tracks in the same way (could have something to do with how/where you're monitoring it while working), I know that's its own ASMR-pop sound nowadays, but feel like if you could dial it back a bit and only unleash the full ASMR ear-canal tickle in select parts of the track, your works could attract and hold a wider variety of listeners.

Hopefully dialing that back will also have the side effect of returning more warmth to the low end too, as it's a little pale compared to what people are used to hearing in the pop genre.

For your future tracks, maybe you could think about simplifying the lyrics (but not the feelings). So using more repetetive pop incantations that sink into your mind without much effort, instead of complex lyrical messages of many sentences that are sung (in fairly busy arrangements too) and naturally more difficult to follow because of that. When people are listening on youtube it matters very little how great your production is musically and mixing-wise, if it's overloading their puny brain's ability to follow, they'll click skip. You gotta have mercy on them and allow for that state of semi-retarded simplicity in which most of us exist and kinda balance that against your artistic desire to say, do more.

Cool stuff!! They have a very JPop vibe and I enjoyed the journey. I agree with Satai on his analysis if you were wanting to develop a fanbase.

I really like your mix. There are a lot of complicated sounds packed in which is also a staple of jpop and everything fit together snuggly without sounding muddy to me. I enjoyed the lyrical style as well. They seemed to be about loss but the vibe of the music wasn't dark. Overall very unique and I like:wink:

I monitor using only the ISK-DS50 headphones ... Cheap headphones ... I have not been able to buy anything more expensive than this ... Especially since this pandemic, many of my items I started selling one by one ...

Okay noted about your ASMR suggestion...

Yes, I will try to find out how and apply your suggestions to my next tracks ...
Thank you for the advice and time listening my songs ...

I saw about Satai analysis, noted ...

My mix? Really? wow thank you...
I didn't think that anyone would realize that there are influences from Japanese music ... But you actually know ... Wow ... Great ...

Thank you for the compliment and review ... apreciate it...
Thank you for listening my tracks...

Ahh yes, I have added Youtube link, thank you ...

Wow, really amazing. Sounds very pro and most important: really good. Congratulations, really.
I already listened Zero (#5) on the previous thread, which sounds SICK good. Guttural vocalist, bass, drums, composition, mixing, those short mutes... Brutal. Dope. Sick.

So I'll go this time with Nightmare (#1) because is the one your voice/voice mixing fits better my taste and that wonderful guitar solo. Amazing work really.

Especial congrats too to my pal @No Avenger, you really outdid yourself man. Or tiger... whatever :winker::wink:
Don't underestimate anime fans... ok, and the previous thread, to be honest

Thank you very much @Xupito for the compliment ... Thank you ...

Wow, I'm so honored ... Thank you ...
The next track is Track #6, I will try to make music like Zero (#5) again but with a slightly different style ... Wait for it ... In the process ... :winker:

I see ... and noted ... and I for some reason also think that way ...
The vocalist also really liked Nightmare (#1) same as you ... :invision:

My guitar solo was inspired by the melodic lead that was often played by Kitamura Ken, L'Arc en Ciel guitarist ... I was greatly influenced by the band since around the 2000s ... It really influenced me in music and determined the composition and arrangement ...
And there are some other bands or musicians that also influence my music, mostly from Japan and some from the West ...

Maybe you should hear my L'Arc en Ciel cover, I have made it and uploaded on my youtube channel ... If you don't mind ...

Hahahaha Lol ... Your sentence is really funny, especially when you mention @No Avenger ...

I do, I mean I never underestimate anime fans ... I like anime too ... And thank you again for your time listening my works, all compliments, etc ... really apreciate and help me to determine what steps for my next work ...

    :shalom:

Thank you very much @Recoil ... :shalom:

Wowww, Thank you very much @Futurewine .... :shalom:

    ======================

Thank you dan apreciate it @SpyFx ✪
Is there a reason why #1 and #3 you liked when you first heard? Maybe it can help me for the next track ... :invision:

I will, maybe on the next project (Track #6) I will pay more attention on harshness ...
Maybe you can give tips for dealing with harshness at high frequencies? Based on your experience, how do you do it?
I usually use a high cut of around 7000-8000 Hz depending on the judgment when I listen ...

You are welcome sir ...

    ======================

Yes, maybe because of my judgment which might not be right on vocals louds ...
Maybe from here I can make experience for my next works ...

Thank you very much for your time in listening to the results of my work ... Apreciate it ...

    Hello @WIMA once again
^ when i listen to something for the very first time i go with what my intuition tells me ,emotion is first ,always remember that when you write music
    ^ general tips :bow::
1.Audio & mixing music is a true art form ,it can take you years to master it,always remember that, but the most important thing is focus on your arrangements/compositions first ,everyone can mix your songs/tracks later(including your future self),but no one will compose them
2.Take frequent breaks when mixing your music, our ears tune easily to the frequency spectrum, wake up next day with "fresh" ears & evaluate your mixes once again ,do you notice any difference ? is your mix sounding great as yesterday ?
3.Above all trust your ears, but also reference (a/b) your tracks to similar commercial releases if that is what you're after
    ^ esoteric tips  :
1.Use m/s processing both on your bass frequencies & also on the high's,for example a lot of people don't know /forget that you can also make mono the high part of the frequency spectrum,& i also make mono everything below 200-300 Hz
2.Don't think to much for ranges (as 7000-8000 Hz ),but more where the resonances in your mix are
^ for example you could use something like Fabfiter Pro q 3 & find them, but as a rule always fix problems/resonances in your mix first, before you even start mastering your tracks.
3.Always remember to balance yours lows with the high's : what i mean here is to cut frequencies around 200-300 Hz,so you can "de mud" that area & know that hi hats/ride cymbals/crashes & such should always be lower in the mix than you first perceive them, also remember de-essing vocals.
    3. You could use an Pultec eq emulation & hi atten the 5-20KHz to make your tracks a bit warmer & not harsh, also have a look at this tool :
    https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_refinement.html
^ Thanks ,last but not least i want to say here that i have tremendous Respect for Japanese culture & Japanese Aesthetics,i use them all the time secretly in my music & no one notices it  :

    Hello again @SpyFx ✪

Yes master , I will remember that... Thank you

This can be a reminder, sometimes I may be careless and forget about this ... Thank you by the way ...

Interesting for mono-ing the high part of the frequency spectrum... I think I've never done it ......
On what track is it usually when mixing? Or during the Mastering process? Can it works using the Imager Plugin?

I usually sweep frequencies using FabFilter EQ, but sometimes it tends to over ... So sometimes I confuse myself ... Maybe I will slowly find out and learn about this ...

Okay noted about Balance lows with highs and De-essing Vocals ... :winker:

About Pulteq EQ Emulation, noted... :winker: Thank you
Is that Pultec EQ Emulation from Waves good? Or do you have references to other good similar plugins?

Actually I often use this, maybe my experience hasn't been much using this plugin ...

Wowww.... Respect.... Me too sir ...
Does it have to be in secret? Or is it personal preference?
Or should it not be noticed but felt?

I have to reading that articles full, soon....
Thank you for sharing this beautiful article ...

    Regards...

Wow this is so not my kind of music. I mean i listen to everything from classical to experimental. pop, rock, folk etc but this is probably the only kind of music (where the singing is unintelligible) that I shy away from with the exception of "Bring me to life"
I only listened to track 5 as the others must be downloaded. since I am no expert in this field and I promised myself to try and help everyone who posts music on this site, I will only encourage you to still do what you do and love it and enjoy it and you'll get there eventually.

I wish you the best of luck

Duly noted. I saw it at your YT. Do you also play the guitar in your tracks? That would be above-awesome.

    Thank you
Yes I do, in the original songs and cover songs, all the guitar tracks I play it my self ...
    Metal style guitar I have played on my works, I use 7-String guitar (Tuning : G# D# G# C# F# A# D# | String size : .074-.056-.046-.032-.017-.013-.010)
    Pop Rock style guitar like Niji cover, I use 6-String guitar (Tuning : E A D G B E | String size : .042-.032-.024-.016-.011-.009)

I also play some parts of the bass in my songs like Zero (#5), Niji Cover, etc ... The rest use bass VSTi because my bass is broken and crack on the neck near the headstock in the process of my songs ... Then I have to sell it ....
