.sal plugins

    I noticed that the latest Fabfilter VR release said "SAL/VST/VST3/AAX" and I'm curious as to what SAL means? Is it a new plug-in format? The only thing I can find is "A file with this extension may be a Datafile for SORITEC." which doesn't seem to have anything to do with audio. Does someone here know anything? :)

    Technically SAL is incorrect. It should be just SA as there are only 2 words... Just saying.
