which is your favourite multiband transient shaper useable in any daw ?

 

Oeksound Spiff is my favorite, and one of the best... in my opinion

I never use one of those. tried it out a few times, didnt find it of any use honestly.
eq and normal multiband comp. works already for me atleast

but then again, difference scenarious calls for different things.
in what context are we talking about ?

creative sounddesign? mixing for clients? mixing for oneself?

The one that comes with iZotope's Neutron is cool!

 

The trasient part in Izotope Alloy 2 is still one of the top nocht, and of course, is multiband. I use a lot in top perc loops in conjunction with the limiter part

 

Newfangled elevate & Punctuate

 

on drums for knock or also changing character ...more for eletronic dance music and hip hop genre

Neutron 3 and Melda's Multibandtransiet.

I often multiband transiet on kicks. I like to pull up the transiet from low mid, to high (and leave the lows uneffected)

 

tighten up kicks and bass

 

i musst try that

 

yeah depends on teh bass, especially for psytrance can this be useful

Spiff is certainly the most advanced tool currently available for the transients control.
You can cut or boost the transients, quickly, efficiently, and without modifying the rest of the signal, like no other tool.
You should try it, you would probably be surprised
