renaissance bundle, cla compressors, dbx160, maxxbass, j37 (not a fan of kramer tape), q-clone (check out henry olongas q-clone presets, the tape presets make q-clone a powerful saturation tool), linear multiband, de-esser, MV2 and MaxxVolume (low level compression is underrated af), BSS DPR402 is an interesting comp but i didnt really test it, the rider plugins, vitamin, L2, brauer motion, doubler, reel adt, abbey roads vinyl

 

How didnt I know about this till now ? I dont know how it works or what kind of sorcery is this , but his presets are amazing

I litereally downloaded the whole collection just so i could get Rbass, Lo air,and Submarine. I have hear they have some good channel strips. Could someone recommend me a good one as well as a good coloring eq?

 

CLA2A, CLA76 rVOX, rCompressor, rBass, rDeEsser, rVox keeps on giving after all these years.

Channelstip recomendations,
try SSLChannel, then you know what you get atleast

i bought the scheps omni channel some blackfriday sale, its nice and all that, but for some reason it rarely get used.
not a Waves channelstrip but, Lindell 80 channel is sounding awesome

 

All the above have it's place in my projects, and besides that I found JJP Vocals sound really nice in vocal chain + simple but effective One Knob Series for quick & easy sound design.

I don't like sub marine. It created weird digital artifacts when I tested it.

 

NLS, mainly because I use it on every session, tracks and master bus.

There was a time I could not do without Waves.. compressors, eq, all fx in fact.
Now I only regularly (almost) use bass and vocal riders and doubler, when I need it.
PluginAliiance bundle and a few singles from elsewhere took the Waves place.

 

puigtec was my favorite until i did a shootout against PSPaudioware nobleQ... waves lost in all categories including latency and sound ofc
