Everyone has had a bad experience with a company at some point.
I'm just speaking about the software and the updates they've released.
It has some things i love and some i hate but to me, the real power of the X is in Standalone anyway.

I was talking about the AIR software which hasent been updated since decades, last Structure update was from 2015?

As far as I know , is the developer team from AIR coding the MPC software...

yeah and some are exceptional bad, AIR is one of those.

Just have a look here how many unresolved OLD issues you find there:

They have not announced it but if they want to have some success with it they need would need to keep it below $400. Something like this is totally different than cloning an almost non- existent synth. Client acquisition for JAM will be more costly because there are currently too many available options in almost every price range, and many of its potential users already are married to other brands.

    My fault.
I use the Air plugs alot, just the effects though. They work fine.
I stopped messing with structure when, for some reaosn, they decide to remove the drag and drop feature witthin pro tools. That was it for me.

Hybrid and their other synths like Velvet and Vacum Pro are pretty nice though.

They're already pretty much the same. Music Tribe has Midas, Klark Teknik, Behringer, Bugera, Eurocom, Turbosound, TC Electronic, TC-Helicon, Lake, Lab.gruppen, CoolAudio, TC Applied Technologies and Tannoy.

Meanwhile AIR belongs to inMusic Brands which also includes Akai, Alesis, Alto, Denon Professional, Denon DJ, HeadRush, ION Audio, M-Audio, Marantz Professional, MARQ Lighting, MixMeister, Numark, Rane, Sonivox and SoundSwitch.

Both are huge corporations with typical problems that huge corporations have.

alone teh preset menu is a no go for me :) Why struggle with tiny fonts when we have alternatives, but hey ok
I am still trying to get rid of my AIR stuff , if you know someone forward him/her to me. I give them away for cheap

I also like teh sound of teh Air plugs but their GUI simply suxx in addition to the unexpected crashes :)

Anyone knwo how to extract the sampels from the structure content ?

If you want a standalone hardware MPC get a 2000 XL, a 1000 with JJOS or a 2500 with JJOS.

All this software crap by wAkai can't fuck with what Maschine 2 is capable of doing.

Nope. The AIR team does whatever AIR does, the Akai team is a completely separate company, just like Denon does their own stuff, the Alesis branch does their own stuff, etc. Akai is their own company located here in Rhode Island. All the Devs are in house and the leads on the team are the same ones that worked on the MPC5000.

I hope they can flip that. As I understand it, the gritty crunch factor in the 60 and 3k are the result of the older components in Roger Linn's design. I never quite felt any of the others had a comparable sound but I'm probably just a purist on that note. Similarly it might be like how Roland hasn't rereleased an official 808 hardware unit ever since they were unable to source a certain component which is now unavailable.
