If i update my os from Sierra to Mojave, will i need to re-crack all my AU list of plugin at startup or will it work without re authorizing ?

Just updated to Mojave. Logic is fine but some plugs don't work in multi output mode.

 

There are 3rd party plugins you know.

Live loops is basically Ableton's Session View where the Scenes (clips/loops) play vertically instead of horizontally. Glad I use both Ableton and Logic lol.

 

This update looks silly and ive been a logic user since v4, apple doesn't even bother to fix real problems like the f****** PDC or automation issues that logic has for years and drops this kid looking update paired with forced updates. Im sorry for vomiting here but the computer world is getting worst and worst, just look at Bill Gates and Tim Cook... 2 massive cunts only looking for profit and exploitation.

Anyone out there can advice what is the best daw with no PDC problems and accurate automation?

Plus Apple has been warning them for 10 years, a decade about this but they still didn't pitch! Greedy lazy c**nts!

 

Took a while for it show up on the app store, downloaded overnight and everything seems to work fine over here. I've only ever clip launcher on Abelton when trying out new ideas, but I'm glad it is part of logic as I've gone back to using my external synths and for some reason Live just never worked as well with those as Logic does.

I do appreciate the new sampler and beat tools so far have no issues with them. I don't really use a ton of 3rd party plugins but apart from some legit IK Multimedia effects crashing after I exit Logic X I have not experienced any issues. I need to update some of them and that's probably the cause, I always wait a while before most updates because when stuff works I am hesitant to change anything.

So far so good.

I'm watching one of these "What's New In Logic 10.5" tuts and the guy is going over recording to cells. Problem I see is, every time he records a new cell/part, he doesn't have any of his previously recorded parts playing along. He's adding new parts absolutely blind ffs!

Please tell me you can have whatever other cells playing while recording a new cell. Because, if you can't, that's massively idiotic.

 

Heh. Gonna check out another company's 'Whats New...' tuts and see what they do with cell recording.

Whew, glad for that. Surprised. The other instructor I'm watching is very detailed yet he did not point this out.
