Mmm... I don't think so, even on PC. Which is kind of surprising.
But It's been a while since last time I checked, so...

I think there's one from an independent free developer but it's very unfriendly to use. And outdated.

Yeah, that's the one I mentioned.
    Can you elaborate?

    OK
What functions does Plugin Doctor have?

Linear analysis with FFT noise and pink/white noise
    -Reaper has that too!

Harmonic analysis using a sine wave test signal
    -Reaper has that too!

    Oscilloscope
-Reaper has that too! Several, in fact.

    Ramping signal to test dynamics.
-Can be created with any DAW. Reaper has an additional Compscope and Gain Reduction Scope.

    Performance Check:
    -Well, Reaper has that too!

    Ability to load two plugins...
-Every DAW can load at least as many plugins

    Built-in screenshot function
-Well, for Reaper there are actions to execute SnapEase (for sceenshots & edits) and LICEcap (for screen captures).
-Or, goddamn it, Span can also do screenshots.

In less than 5 minutes you can create a track template with folder structure and pre-inserted plugin tools and items.

Thank you @Sinus Well for your info

It is very useful and very interesting for people who already own Reaper.
For others like me, I think I'll just buy Plugin Doctor because i have not found any other alternatives.

You can find it here (23,90€) : https://ddmf.eu/plugindoctor/

I tested it, it's very easy and quick to use, and it helps me to discover my plugins even more in depth.
    Thank you :mates:

Hello I am new to reaper and your comment caught my attention, could you help me in more detail with what you expose.
With reaper it would work the same way as doctor plugins or vst plugin analyzer does

Linear analysis with FFT noise and pink/white noise
Harmonic analysis using a sine wave test signal
    Oscilloscope
    Ramping signal to test dynamics

    Thanks a lot.

Okay, let's make this simple. I'll give you one of my track templates. Just extract the contents of REAPER.rar into your REAPER Resources folder. Then open my track template. Press Play only if you want to use the sine signal automations. Otherwise leave the transport on STOP.

For a reasonable FFT analysis of the frequency response of plugins insert SPAN Free on the FREQ Analyzer track and set SPAN as shown in the picture below. Then set the FFT Noise slider of the "TEST Signal (Noise)"-Track to 0 (max).

Amount of THD, THD+ noise, THD response by frequency and by fundamental. IMD, magnitude and phase response. Phase mode between L and R. True dynamic mode "Ramp" (not the one displayed at the audio plugin interface) and "Attack/Release". Hammerstein mode, the ability to compare overlapping curves on the same graph between both plugins and hardware in real time. I think your information is not really appropriate, whether you use Reaper to any other DAW, the immediate tools and the way they are implemented, makes PD or Plugin Analyzer, a unique and unrepeatable tool even through the good Reaper.

... are all things that I can measure with my track template even without PD. Just like the time dependence of the harmonics. Note that at the time I wrote this comment, there was no VST3 version of PD and the (legit!) standalone of PD was unstable af.

... and its option to track the frequency response of individual harmonics within the DAW (without having to rely on mathlab) is a valuable asset, yes. But if I remember correctly, PD did not even have an implementation of the hammerstein model at that time.

Well, and I think, I disagree.

That's not the point! The point is that the OP specifically asked for an alternative to PD. PD is not an alternative to PD. Teaching/learning how to use tools that everyone already has at their fingertips is an alternative. Free and educational.
And criticizing someone for a 3 year old post because there are new features that the 3 year old post didn't address is more than questionable.

Bertom Eq curve analyzer is a plugin to analyze frequency and phase response.
It works with 2 instances, the first one is the transmitter and must be placed before the plugin to be analyzed and the second instance is the analyzer.
