Is it a way to use Omnisphere without 80GB garbage?
I don't have space on the hard drive. I never used all this libraries. I need only basic synthesizer.

^ i don't think you can do this
^ You can move the Steam Folder on an external drive, but i'm sure you already know this
^ You can use this synth instead,it is free & sounds very good, you can do so much with it & be so creative, cheers ! :

I'm sure some file/registry editing could fix your problems, but i'm certain someone has already done this and just have to wait for their reply.

80GB garbage lol. That 80GB is why Omnisphere is what it is.

If you just want a basic synth, then just get a basic synth. There's literally tons of them.

Yeah but Omnisphere have some unique functions like possibility to load own samples and process them exactly like basic waveforms up to 64 voices. ADSR -> FM -> Ring -> Waveshaper -> Unison -> Harmonia -> Granular. Tons of FX. Arpeggiator, ORB, Modulation LFO stuff. Unique workflow.

I'm disagree with this. Omnisphere is not a rompler like Nexus. Omnisphere is a full fledged synthesizer which You can make sound from scratch using waveforms, wavetables or own samples with some unique functions, processing and a lot of fx's. Rich libraries are just an addon which should not be required.

@Roject but sound design is probably it's most used feature.
Hey, if they could have a 100MB LITE version I'd be all over it. But there isn't

If I remember correctly, some huge library files are only accessed when you choose presets that require them.
That might be something to tinker with.

If you just want a basic synth you're probably better off with something else. Using lots of samples with synthesis is kind of what Omnisphere is about and what gives it it's sound.

Yeah but I don't want their samples. I would like to use only my own.

If you are on the mac platform you can use Logic Pro X & the Achemy synth, you can load your own samples & remember that Logic allows you to download/install only the content that you need,so you don't fill your internal hard drive with sounds/libraries that you don't like/need.
If you're using Ableton Live you could load your own sounds in simpler/sampler & with a combination of the included synths, you could make your own unique Ableton Racks
& my final thoughts  :

This is possible if you only use the waveform synth from Omnisphere, then delete all in the Core Library folder (Soundsource / Factory / Core library), but not the folder with the name waveform with his contents. Then you have over 50 GB less.
