Thought I'd share my Ableton gain staging template. I made this template based on what Skrillex was showing on his Mumbai power track. This template is already routed for you correctly however you still need to do some individual processing to get the desired effect and loudness. The plugins being used are Fab Filter L2 , Fab Filter Q3, and Camel Audio Camel Phat on the master bus. I also included my preset for camel Phat. Just adjust the compression and mix to get loudness but don't push it because it will get muddy fast.

Totally forgot that my vocal processing rack is also included on the Return track in the template. All you need to do is add the source track to the compressor side chain and apply the send at 100% or whoever wetness you want.
