Just gonna quote somebody from another forum

To be fair I didn't wait for it because I'm not in that mindset at all, or even jumping on some hot new update that is there, few days ago I upgraded partition to 10.8.4 and than left it for networking, I'm going to stay on 10.6.8 until it's completely outdated and usable, than back to windows and Cubase, I can't stand this apple crap at all

What does it mean? does logic x only work in 64bit? (no 32bit support)?

about that multi processor stuff, isn't that already supported in v9? in thought that you could set that up in audio preferences if i remember correct. if i'm wrong, please fill me in about what's it all about you're talking about. (what a funny last piece of my sentence haha.)

Antares now has 64 bit support on at least some of their plugins not sure about the whole set. The 32 bit bridge is gone so no more 32 bit only plugins. There's more than just new plugins, a lot more midi control effects were added which was huge plus a ton of other features I'm not gonna get into but you can look it up. Logic Pro 9 has supported multi processors for as long as I can remember so I'm note sure what you're talking about.

that's a pity... but i think it's wrong to blame apple for 'looking ahead'. developers just gotta do their job and cater to their customers need, in other words they just gotta bring those 64 bit versions to the table asap.

    yup lisa,everything 64

edit: not hating at all but they could just drop the 'pro'..i've not tested it but it looks like a bit hobbyist oriented

I'm pretty much looking out of my best interest in whole deal, care about apple as a care about my government, just looking what is best for me and not giving a flying fuck what they are saying and trying

Can't believe they blocked 32bit support, incredible! There most be a workaround.
For multi-processor, yes i know that it worked in logic pro 9, it was not me talking about multi-processor, anyway, i confirm that multi-processor worked fine in Logic Pro 9.1.8

    cheers
