Altiverb 7 CPU usage

    One instance of Altiverb takes ~20% of my CPU. This is extremely high compared to any other convolver I've used and almost impractically high to be used in real-time in a busy project. Is this normal or is the AudioUTOPiA iLok circumvention adding a significant overhead?

    It uses 5% on my i7-4790k. For comparison, Valhalla stuff uses 2%. (Both were tested with sound passing through them)

    If anything, AudioUTOPiA's version should use less cpu and ram because afaik, they just yanked the iLok parts out.
