    Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have idea why my SAGE Converter is not working?

I have my StylusRMX working fine with Logic Pro X.

Whenever I open my SAGE Coverter, it says "SAGE folder not found" and shuts down the converter.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Cheers :)

I have SAGE 1.6 and I am on MAC 10.14.6

I have seen REX_16_installer.dmg in my applications folder which I ran and it installed successfully.

Is there anything else that needs to be done?

I put the sage converter in this path Spectrasonics\Stylus\SAGE\SAGE Libraries\User Libraries
try to create a folder named "Converted REX Files" and drag on it(sage converter) the folder to be converted
I am on Pc and use 1.6.0.0 version ...hope this can help :dunno:

Sierra. My Sage 1.6 is in my Applications folder. No problems. When you install it properly it creates the folder along where your Spectrasonics folder with your libraries is. If you don't have a User Libraries folder, you could try creating it.
Spectrasonics/SAGE/SAGE Libraries/User Libraries is where they go.
Confusing to read! Should have said drag the folder you want to convert on to SAGE converter.
Either way, creating that new folder won't work because the 'Converted REX Files' folder is what sometimes will be created when REX files are added individually instead of dropping a named folder on to it. Then you can put them in their own named folder and delete it. So your advice just confuses the matter, imo.

Is is not possible that, being so old, SAGE became redundant on Mojave+?
Which is what the update for Stylus was about. You can convert through the standalone of Stylus now, without the need for SAGE.

yeah, I gave up on it to after trying it recently. Stylus RMX needs a complete makeover at this point. Don't know why Spectrasonics hasn't bothered.

Had tried their latest guideline of update to the latest Stylus RMX app and then open the Standalone app and pull down from the "View" menu where you now can see "Import from REX files" thought it would work, and guess what...it now said cannot find the SAGE converter app. WTF

"Open up your SAGE converter OSX folder and run the installer called "Install REX Shared Library OS X" and try it again, that should work."

    -This did the trick.

RMX Installer Fix for Mac / How to Use the Sage Converter
If you have tried installing REX files into Stylus RMX using the RMX Installer (Big Fish Audio branded products ONLY), but have received an error message, you need to update your Rex Folder Permissions. To update your rex folder Permissions, please follow the steps below.

    1. Download the SetRexFolderPermissions.zip file
    2. Extract the zip
    3. Double-click the SetRexFolderPermissions.command file
    4. Terminal will open
    5. Enter your computer password and press return
    6. **NOTE** when entering your password you may not see any characters generated, that is ok.

If you have already tried fixing your permissions using the SetRexFolderPermissions.zip file but are still experiencing issues with the RMX Installer, you should try installing the files into Stylus RMX using Spectrasonic’s Sage Converter which is the standard converter/installer used for Stylus RMX.

Here is a Video Tutorial to show you exactly how the Sage Converter works.
