    Edit:
    At the end of the install instruction I see this:

    Activation
    1. Open your installed product and enter your Cherry Audio registered Email and Password > Click 'Login'.

    Does it means that your DAW must be connected for this to work?

    You dont need to be online for it to work once you have it installed.

    You cant activate it without connecting to the internet:

    I never let my DAW connect to the internet...

    So I had to install the standalone version only to authorize.
