I would change the rhythm a bit.. after every 2 bars i end up in a downward motion and to me that feels like i am stuck. if you change the rhythm slightly so that you end on a upward motion on the 8th beat the whole piece will become a lot more dance-able. Hope that makes sense

@seicaratteri Nice effort. Thanks for sharing your music with all of us. In my opinion, the track suffers from a lack of identity and sounds like 3 different songs pasted together. This is typical of when we have 1000 ideas swirling inside our brains, and lose focus. You have all the elements needed within this track to make it interesting and memorable. You just failed to used them. You do an excellent job of teasing the listener from 0:00 up to !: 14. At that point the track is like a lost puppy. You overlooked the impact of the vocal sample at 0:14. You also misuse, and then totally forget, the synth stabs that come in at 0:30. Work around those 2 elements. In my opinion, they should be the foundation of this track.

First of all thank you all for taking the time to listen to the track and give me a feedback! it's extremely valuable and I really appreciate it

Very interesting! :) Could you please explain further what do you mean? As for rythm, you mean the pattern of the bassline?

Thank you for your feedback! Extremely valuable! I see your point and I thought about it as well, but that variation in terms of instruments and melodies is precisely what I wanted to achieve. In some sense I like to drag the listener in many different directions during the track but I can understand that can make it feel like is not all tied up together.

Do you know the artists KAS:ST? I feel lately very inspired by them. They kinda do the same thing in their latest tracks: abrupt changes of tempos, very long bridges with parts that sound almost out of the blue to converge after a while back to a more common melody. I am trying to do more or less the same, but maybe I'm still not quite there :)

The acid synth is made with ABL3, is an emulation of the 303. I love it, absolutely recommended!

Im very familiar with Kas:st, they are good at doing what you are trying to do: dragging the listener in many directions but always conveying that it is ONE song. H.U.M.A.N is a perfect example. In the 80's there was a duo called Yellow who were masters at doing just that.

Can you provide some particular titles from Yellow? Hard to find that duo if you don't know any song from them.

@burton There is a couple. If you need more info contact me by PM. I don't like to go into a music thread posting other people's music.
