What's the software like though? Does it run in the background all the time?

I imagine a cracked version would be faster because you wouldn't have iLok bloat.

It's not "shit" - plugins that have all the layers of encrypted runtime code bypassed or removed often run faster because there is less CPU overhead used in loading and running the plugin. If you knew how the iLok protection wrappers worked you'd have more of a clue. I'd suggest trying to be a bit more informed before ridiculing other people, but I'm no doubt wasting my breath on that one...

Soothe version 1 (2016) isn't cracked, and so is the current version.

I recall seeing some people in the comments in sister site who claimed that they got their hands on some of the pre-iLok versions and have begun working on a crack. That was about half a year ago or so. No clue what became of that, but considering that every cracker knows that this is the most sought after release, I would assume it's gonna happen sooner or later.

i guess if i could have just one more toy from r2r or v.r or whomever, this would be it. mostly because my voice can get shrill and i'd love to tame that down a notch or two. but i don't make money with music. it's just a hobby for this old man. so no way i can justify spending $200 on it.

 

Recently, they had version 1 on sale for $99 but then Oeksound released its update and charged us $45 more.

 

Why would you give information about an expired deal?

 

I don't see what's so special about this protection, at least the one in the earlier versions. We lately got Sylenth1 v3 which was a huge deal, earlier we got Brainworx Bundle. Both of these were requested for a long time before they were fulfilled. I don't understand what makes people so confident in saying that this will "never" happen. Of course it'll happen. But I personally don't care, it's just so entertaining watching everyone go nuts over one single plugin and its non existent warez release.
