I recently installed Hypersonic 2 on OS X 10.8.4 (Mac Book Pro 2012) the good part is that it worked flawlessly. My only issue is that every time I close my DAW and reopen it, Hypersonic wants me to continuously relocate the content folder. The content folder has an app in it that will set the location of the content library but it is a power PC app and will not work under Mountain Lion. I was looking around online and came across editing you preference (.plist) file for Hypersonic to set the location of the content manually. How would I go about doing this? and what would I need to input in the file to make it recognize the location of the content folder?

If you don't have an answer for this please don't waste my time with "there are so many better sounding plugins" type post's. I want to make this work simply because I love this plugin.

 

Interesting.. I love that plugin. Where were you able to find the dl for it for Mac? I would like to be stuck in the same position your in at least. I wouldn't mind relocating the folder just to use it. Please help me obtain it!

 

THis is one of a beast software sadly discontinued/unsupperted/notupdated and crashing on win7.

then convert Hypersonic2 32dll. to
Hypersonic2 64dll.
It works for me Win 7 64 bits.

 

This is so interesting and so simple..... I never though of it! It works for my other plugs that wouldn't covert directly from 32 to 64, thanks!

On my last OSX I got it to work with that binary installer, I just copied the Content of Hypersonic2 from my Windows System, to the Mac Platform.

Worked flawless, until i upgraded to 10.7.5.

 

Already tried J bridge with OS X, it worked on windows for saving the location of the content folder but no dice with Mac. If anyone knows how to rewrite a preference file manually so I can redirect the location that would be great.

 

Yeah I used the update from steinberg as well, like I said the plugin works great but the content location never saves.

 

Support the guy who makes J Bridge. He's a one man developer and he has some extremely useful tool's on his site, Google J bridge and you will see what I mean.

 

Again though any ideas on how to fix my problem?
