By the way...some of you might remember my drone loops teaser package:

I mention it just because many of those Drones were once created with Hartmann Neuron (Hardware version),
one of the best ambient synths out there. I am sad i don't own it anymore .

I discovered the news some minutes ago, that's why i didn't try this new mac version yet
.....but i am looking forward to do that now. *yes*

 

Shit, i have actually no DAW which is able to run VST SDK 2.3 Standard.
REAPER can open the plugin, but instead of the GUI it shows only a white empty quad.
Audio Hijack Pro can open Neuron VS with proper GUI, but even with the help of the manual
i can't find out how to plug in my Keyboard.
If there is someone who was able to run this plugin on Mac: please tell me how. Thanks.

 

I was posting the same news... please read with attention the notes clearly written in the Neuron site and you will know the limitations of this plug

 

angie, sorry if this is a double post. I made a search for Neuron VS before posting, but haven't seen your news.
Maybe it got deleted or i used the wrong catchword ?!
I also read the instructions before, but i didn't know anything about VST standards, so i just tried different DAW's.

ArticStorm, thanks for the hint. I stucked with Audio Hijack Pro, because it was mentioned in the instructions.
I tried the old win version three years ago, but i had no fun with it...too many bugs.

edit: FXpansion adapter indicates he wrapped the thing, but in fact he didn't (ML 10.8.4). Will try with 10.6.8..

 

Probably you should mention that this wont work without the NUKE Hardware.

 

It definitely works without NUKE controller, but the functions are limited.
However, i bought that thing via ebay three years ago, so that's not a problem.

For all the others, who want to try this plug:
After i changed some permissions, AU to VST adapter was able to wrap NeuronVS (ML 10.8.4).
It runs now in Reaper & Logic (32bit only), and surely in other DAW's as well.
I am amazed it works well without the usual bugs so far.

I can hardly express, how happy i am.
I never thought that I could play Neuron on my Mac one day.

These are the moments in which i particularly love this forum. *yes*

Not AU.

Mac VST. (Such as Neuron VS lol)
