    Hey Everyone.
I have been using some Team V.R plugins over the last year without any issues but recently on trying to install some new additions I am finding that they start to install and then crash the computer and restart it at the same install point each time. I have a video of this happening on my phone. I have the same issues on a friends computer. Does anyone know why this is happening. I am running on PC with no virus protection. I have also tried turning off Defender and anything else that I think would stop me installing the file. Here is a link to mp4 video of the problem on my google drive. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wV-0mkPWH8yOwrKEc-muXdldLDRu502x

Check youtube Massive X 1.2.1 to get the original installer.
and use another AV to bypass defender
this is the real time scan file delete result.
VR use integrated R2R keygen registration you'll never get it installing. no av mean defender running by default.

WTF? You tube? Use another AV to bypass Defender?
If he really has disabled Defender, 'bypassing' should not be necessary, but it seems you are implying that Defender will be running even after doing the common way to disable it (turning off "real-time protection").
It seems you suggest installing another AV that can be more easily disabled to avoid Defenders new way of running even after disabling it.

It is known that some R2R keygens use a temporary directory. So those ones will trigger AV even if run from a directory excluded from AV. In those cases disabling real-time protection has always worked for me.
I have only had that happen with normal R2R releases and I have never heard of V.R using an 'integrated R2R registration'.
What you imply is that it is running R2R's keygen process in a non-excluded area and triggering AV ...
I suppose that is possible, but I call "bullshit" on that.
Sounds like speculation and not knowledge.

"evtl"? Ahhh, I see it means "possibly / eventually".
I don't recall ever seeing that before.

the massive X dll from VR register from R2R keygen.
the license is located here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\Native Access\ras3
    as all R2R license

maybe learn how it works before speak about knowledge.
the full original setup with VR patched inside and R2R keygen is youtubed, that's all.

your WTF opinion is based on nothing objective. i give a solution with explanation without agressivity, and you give what? an ignorant kid reaction.

Sorry that I seemed rude, or ignorant or "kid reaction".
My WTF is based on my trouble in understanding your solution.
This is the first time I have seen someone suggest going to YouTube to get an installer and the first time I have heard anyone suggest installing another AV software to avoid Defender interfering.
I do not need to know how it works to be suspicious, and my suspicion led me call bullshit.
    Maybe I am wrong.

Yes, excluding drives or folders is a good thing for trusted files.
For some keygens that run in temp folders (like some R2R keygens) temporarily disabling Defender usually works.

Did you make it work? I've been looking for a solution and it seems like this is the onlye thread where someone have the same issue. I've tried uninstalling my antivirus and also shuting down windows defender but non of that works:/ If someone have a solution please share it!

I was speaking about that long time ago.
All SWAM Engine programs released from V.R are registered with R2R keygen from 2014 or so,and i hve proven that, but i dont have original installers, but V.R have so he kept them for himself and gave to us "Extracted repacked installer" and that aplies to almost all his releases...That old keygen still works on SWAM engine Vst ,like viola, sax etc... My 2c. Cheers

I am still using W7 for my main DAW, but do have W10 on laptop which i occasionally try a few things out on...
What I have found useful is the W10Privacy app (there are other similar apps) which i use to disable various aspects of W10.

It should be noted that if you disable or change settings with W10Privacy (and/or manually or with other similar apps) and you receive new W10 Updates then some of the settings, parameters, names and even the stored location of a certain service/component etc may change back to previous/default settings. I had some issues on Win10 with defender, W10Privacy solved the problem by totally disabling it defender. Although as I said 'you may need to check if it has been re-enabled' after any MS Updates!!

    * Note W10Privacy does a lot more than this, it can also remove Xbox, MS Store and other bundled shizzle!
[Hover your mouse over each listed component for a description of what it is/does - not everything has an explanation or may require more understanding of cause and effect due to changes made... But that's why the internet and google were invented!!!]

Another thing you might want to do if you didn't already, disable User Account Control (UAC) because this can limit where you are able to run executable's from (ie limited to desktop and a couple of other places) if they inject .dll to the win drive and who wants to extract everything one installs to the desktop? Not me that's for sure ;)

Anyway, hope that may be of some use to you; or someone, somewhere in a darkened corner of the interwebz...
