When you fulfill your own request on AZ


I've done this a few times.

 

If everyone did it, we would have 10 times more of what we have available today. Some members forget that "Sharing is caring". They request, then buy, don't share.

 

I feel the exact same way. I even leave thanks on the post that I supplied.

 

requesting is such a desperate thing to do, like having that tool is gnna fuckn save peoples shitty music....

"Oh *insert prolific audioz uploader here*, can u please upload asswipeXTREME.dll for MacOS and Windoz, pleeease oh pleaaase I need it without asswipeXTREME I will never be able to make my SMASH HEEET home produced under my fucking bed track... pleeaseee oh pleasse I will suck u off behind an obscure waste collection bin near the highway gas station PLEEEEASE!"

 

I used to put up requests on IRC for Soundfonts/Midis for stuff I was missing, had such a massive collection back in the day. I had the bot setup so that anyone could request a collection and auto serve themselves as well. There are some reasons it makes sense, but controlling ourselves is important too.

 

When you try spread the 0's and 1's around to people but some are insecure and greedy and want to keep things as their own...

Its one thing if you've spent a week alone cracking the software,

Its another if its a goddamn preset pack you spent 20$ on..
