Got to admit I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to synthetic percussion, Microtonic being one of my fav. plugin's so when this came out was an instabuy. I'm loving it mixed up with Maschine drums, the auto fills and intelligent random modes are just brilliant, really hoping they NKS it soon.

that's not an intuitive drumsynth and it's a CPU eater.
30 % on my mac to compare with a few percent with microtonic.

Its version 1.00, give it a chance think it will get refined a bit, hopefully lower that CPU hit. It has a lot more functionality than microtonic but I hear you, I don’t see me entirely replacing mTonic with this. However, I wish the Lidström bros would get there finger out and do a better GUI, it’s a bit small on my 4K.

    Great work.
Yes, microtonic is a fantastic tool.

I've been playing with the DrumComputer demo and damn, this sounds like a must-have. I can't say I've gotten too far with it but what I've heard so far has been awesome. If you like synth drums, you need to at least try this.

There's a real... organic feel about this, hard to explain, but all of the controls are sort of intertwined and interactive. Definitely seems to reward exploration. The random system is genius, really well done, I'm not normally fan of randomizers but here the whole "random profile" thing is very good.

OT, as I don't want to go too off-topic about uTonic, but these two bad boys complement each other very well. Whip out an external sequencer (I use HY-RPE) and use both in tandem, fantastic stuff.

(Is there a dedicated MicroTonic thread? I don't want to swamp this thread about it really)

I freeze all of my VST instruments before I can even say the word CPU. Oh yeah, I add some Nebula stuff too, so I have to do it, but it sounds great! I much prefer working with stems anyway, as the track is set in stone with no weird stuff going on. BTW, nice rhythm box

Interesting Stuff in drum computer, the mapping part esp. when u route those to another instrument like Atlas. When the number buttons are moved along it can trigger different sample (which is actually for pitch and roll), its a way of remapping to different notes really interesting. Are there any other plugins that are capable of this, i mean remapping on the fly. Its kinda limited to 7 or 8 notes and whole instrument with samples is unnecessary for the purpose.
    I am talking about this
