    @Studio 555
Thank you mate, but what i'm looking for is not involving a vsti.

I have a HUGE drum sound library and to be honest, when i use a vsti to make my sequence:
1- i dont have visual on my waveform
2- I find that theres a color to those vsti over my drum sounds.
3-it consume CPU very fast as i usualy use between 6 to 12 different drum sound in a single beat produced.

So my question stay the same:
Is there a DAW that allow you to Make a sequence with audio sample ( not midi ) and then replace the whole track with a new sample without having to erase everything and recreate the whole sequence as it was ??!!

    Thanks guys !!

    @ Martel80,

    You're welcome mate ! :mates:

As you want to ONLY use your own samples, you should to try to make it within 'Fruity Loops : FL Studio' (if not already done or tried !).
At a first glance, that DAW can look like a 'half-DAW' by some DAW's users compared to more prestigious DAWs (personally, I don't think it ! *no* )... but you'll certainly be very surprised of some of its functionalities/options, particularly when related to create sequences with external samples as you want to do it. *yes*

And after your accurate request :

I'm pretty sure that you can reach great results with it, or at least get results very close of your expectations... *yes*

As 'FL Studio' can handle 'Rewire' protocol, you can even send your audio to another 'Rewire' compatible DAWs for further processings, or if you think that some of your other used DAWs have better sounding engines, better sonic qualities, better workflows, more mixing/mastering options,...

if you have to switch DAW, I prefer studio one... because I switched from cubase to studio one flawless.
S1 has very easy interface, friendly mixer, most important, the scanning of VSTs only takes very few seconds, that's good because how many passion rest of yours depends on how soon the DAW is ready.

But if I get a chance, I'll back to Cubase or Nuendo with no hesitate.
It has powerful MIDI function and so many little tools to help you get the result beyond what your expect and that is way better than studio one.

Cubase = Powerful Editing; S1 = Instant Mixing.

haven't used other DAW(used Ableton a little, but its colors confused me) so can't compare with them, maybe I'm a old fashion huh, and sorry for my English if my words not so clear.

I like Sequoia Alot, but its very expensive, you have Samplitude x pro wich is "basicly" the same (audio engine is the same between Samplitude and Sequoia "i think").
sequoia has one of the best (in my opinion) crossfade options when editing (Source/Destination 4-point editing), but for common needs, Samplitude crossfades are advanced too.

-sequoia is best for post-production (networking multiple users) and mastering
(of course you can use it as you like), and it has DDP generation , it can be used as multi-user platform with password protection.
-you can create your own impulse responses

but if you are going to record, mix and some mild mastering Samplitude x will be enough for the price difference,
but if you plan to do eavy Mastering and mix complex projects that involve alot of editing(Classical Music, Film, you can do it over 20 or even more tracks) the extra money will be well spent.

there are other differences, that other users can tell you

i don´t know about the DAW,
but you can use the Plug-in DRUMAGOG to replace live the samples that were created in the whole sequence that you created.
i now it´s a plug VST not VSTi , but after you create the whole sequence (audio not midi) and want to change the kick sound, just insert the plug-in, load your samples to drumagog and preview the best that suits your track, then just replace it on-the-fly

i dont know if is this what you are looking for, but just give it a try.

    Thanks Me2Audio.

I guess sequoia is not for me then.

I'll give a try to Drumagog now.
I just wish this Vst is not CPU hugger.
    If not, im in even.

just use the v4 if the latest version is a CPU hugger.

keep in mind that drumagog will only replace one instrument per vst instance,
1 track for bassdrum, other snare and so one,

at least you can preview the samples while playing the drum sequence

let us know if it helped
