I bought it for $12 (cheap I know) but it doesn't work with Yosemite and Logic 10.1, even though Audio Assault claims it does. I emailed them twice and their only answer is "that's strange".

Anyone else have this problem? It doesn't work in standalone mode or au in Logic. Standalone mode says it requires OSX 10.11 or higher -- Audio Assault claims 10.9+.

Thank you for your email confirming that it is 'strange' not to be working with my system, despite you advertising to the contrary. Now please can you elaborate as to what you intend on doing about it, as it is 'not fit for purpose'?

 

It doesn't work in standalone mode on Windows 10 either. And though it kind of works as a plugin in Cubase 10 Pro, it behaves very strange - the sound of my bass goes up and down. I wrote them about that several days ago, but no answer so far, they just keep emailing me about their "$5 sale"...

Follow-up: Audio Assault still ignoring my email requests for a refund more than a month after purchase so I filed a paypal dispute. I'll never buy anything from them again.

 

Final follow-up: Audio Assault actually came through and released a new version of Duality Bass Studio 1.2.5 that IS COMPATIBLE with Yosemite. Kudos to them for doing the right thing.
