    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is interested in working with me to create a proper Script for ewql kontakt library and VSL Cube.
Primarely, I was thinking to merge all the different articulations into one patch (within each instrument group) and create a GUI with keyswitches.
The Keyswitches, I am able to create, but I miss the script to create a proper GUI.

I will do all the work, and will certainly share among everyone. I just need some assistance in creating the script for it and the GUI. I'll do the work, just need some directions.
Anyone is willing to work on this?

    Thank you very much.

I don't think that's what he's after Sir SillyS - he's trying to write a multi-articulation instrument, specifically to make a GUI that does justice to all the scripting work involved. I wish I could help - I suck at that finesse stuff - but boy what a worthwhile enterprise. Those libraries are well recorded, especially the VSL, but all the separate articulation instruments do kind of force you to have your stuff more or less pre-orchestrated before you start tracking. Yes, you can split lines off after and copy and paste, but the process is so mechanical that it's a major kick in the inspiration. I'd LOVE to have a more comprehensive instrument with a nicely designed interface for some of these million-instrument libraries. I had the same complaint about LASS, but version 2 seems to have addressed that issue somewhat. Meanwhile I plug along using OTS Mind Control to do more or less the same thing with Instrument banks, but without the nice GUI.

No problem, I think there was a couple of topics here somewhere on this forum about editing scripts, but I have lost the links

With a good scripted instruments and multis there would be no need of the PLAY version.

    Just a suggestion!

Why not start up trying a free library like "Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra" in Kontakt format. Its a great library if you consider its free, and it really needs a good script and stuff!

    Good luck with your plans!
