I bought the update for 99. It's a must have for Nexus 2 users.

 

A friend bought the upgrade and I've seen the thing "working"
99€ for a new explorer and "ROM Ext 2"? (which I'm sure it contains recycled stuff from Avenger)
No way

 

Finally its out. 2 new expansions out which have nothing new. The edm 5 expansion is literally the worst. Its just copied sounds from their own earlier expansions. Sounds you hear from sylenth or spire.

 

Why would a company like that ruin and run there company into the ground like at the very least they could of done was make it so you could layer sounds

 

They deserve to be cracked. They really deserved it this time.

But Manuel (Vengeance) worked with the guys from refx (canada) hand in hand (As a Sound Designer for a Rompler, so he is literally doing 90% of the work there )
It's some kind of coop thing I believe.

Fuck business. Use cracks. Trust crackers. Nexus comes with the most popular commercially famous sound. So don't expect much creativity in their expansions. Refx just sample Avenger expansions and sell them as Nexus expansions. That's it. Double money. Double profits.

 

i like it, they have sorted the sounds to categories that save alot of time, but its very expensive

I don’t like the new look either but it’s 10 times better for my creative flow. I’ve had Nexus for 8 years and have bought a ton of expansions so having all of those sounds available instantly is a huge help. It’s ugly af though.

the interface looks cheap and the new sounds are not near as nice as the old ones, seems that sucks

 

I'll never give them another dime till you can layer sounds and add fx to each instrument... knowing them though and there snooty arrogant attitude that will never happin I'm actually hoping R2R or .vr cracks this thing and all the expansions start pouring over the internet. It would be like a mini orgasmic experience because everytime I asked them for anything it was met with a crooked eye and that I was dumb for even asking.

 

I have nothing to new add to this thread but the best thing about Nexus (in my opinion) was that C64 skin:
