https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/pa-mega-bundle.html.. $25 bucks a month for a whopping 108 plugins.. or pay $250 for the whole year.. or if you got the dough buy the bundle for $7,000...Curious what others opinions are about the increase in subscription based plugins? I would have to believe with how many different contracts Plugin Alliance had to get that the companies who signed on found this to only be a positive for them.. I think it will eventually be a big payoff for them in the sense that it brings in new customers who in the past may not have been able to afford or even consider venturing in there direction because of the price... I have tried the Slate subscription, Oxford SSL plugins, and the Softube 2,3 bundles.. and I have to say this one blows all those out of the water as far as what you get.. and seems to be the most ideal for producers/artists on a tight budget or who are just starting out trying to make a name for themselves.

If you like to rent. And waste money.
If not, taking advantage of BF to buy their discounted plugins and own them, then yeah. Now is the moment.
Their pick pack thing was golden. Subscriptions suck.

Love subscriptions. I just don't need everything all the time.
When I'm producing a lot I like to grab the EastWest composer bundle and if Im mixing grab the Plugin Alliance.
I do wish it was rent to own but.. meh.
Notice the cheaper subs? The smaller packages.
notice how Blackbox isn't any ANY OF THEM lol

Plugin alliance makes incredible stuff, to own it all would be insanely pricey even on black friday.
Do I want to wait a year before i can afford 2 more plugins like i have to do with my UAD stuff or pay 20 bucks a month and use what i need come and go as I please.

I get both sides of the coin though. Almost everything on PA is on sister site for PC/MAC just missing a few of the bigger ones for mac like Blackbox..

I bought all the ones I use regularly or just enjoy. Between 30 and 40 of those, stopped counting. Never paid more than the 10th of their value. Black box ? I think I got it for around 40$. Sales + voucher. Got a lot at launch times, etc. Before they changed their voucher system - which came with their subsciption plan - I actually got several of them free.

Yes the whole is overpricey but do you really use all their plugins?I have around 15 of them and I don't feel the need to get more.
I would be interested on the last Lindel & Focusrite consoles and the STA delay and the little Bx-Control V2 if I can buy them cheap, but that's all.

The new voucher rule sucks anyways...:(

How long has this been available now? I just stumbled upon it today thought it was for black friday or end of the year.. and yes I just went through my whole list of plugins and freed up a ton of space to get this.. was looking through all the products it comes with and its preety much everything you need to mix/master/create.. definitely the best subscription based deal i've seen any company rollout and i've subscribed to the Slate Plugins/ Softube plugins/ and SSL Plugins through Gobbler..

I agree with that sentiment, but sometimes companies won't let you try out the plugin and if its expensive, I'd hate to blow all my money on it to end up not being satisfied.. the only time i've ever bought a plugin without trying it out was the Phoenix II plugin and that's because I knew from watching several videos how unique it was compared to other saturation plugins.. and it didn't disappoint but was quite expensive..

Does anybody of you know if it's possible to get this Subscription on an offline machine? Or is it the same procedure as with Splice (Rent to own), where you have to be online so that the license check works for Serum, Izotope etc.

If you make all your tracks with subscription based plugins, the day, you're short on income, you can't have access to your original mixes anymore. So no thanks.
PS : Fortunately in the case of PA, R2R did us a favor...

    So you're basically contradicting yourself.

I personally bought every plugin from PA with a huge discount so insanely pricey? Nope... sorry that does NOT fly.
And as you said it yourself, everything is on the sister site.

So the best deal is to buy very cheap and use the pirated ones in the meantime

I just got Black Box for $199 with a coupon voucher I found online. I had it in my cart hoping there would be a Black Friday sale on it, but it didn't happen.

yes, all youd have to do is once youve downloaded and installed everything to your computer, you would then log on to Plugin Alliance go to your account and under Licences/Plugins you will see an option 4th down that says "Create Offline License", it will then ask you to choose which computer your activating the plugins for, and then will send you the file that you will upload once you try to load one of the plugins on your DAW of choice, super convenient and simple like Simple Jack. One license to rule them all..
