well i'm gonna hide in a bunker after saying this but nexus is/was one of the best romplers out there, i used it a lot on my album. some of the sounds sources used are very good and high quality, FE the patch introducing fatness is straight out of the waldorf microwave XT, a synth that is now going for somwhere between 900 to 2000

 

Anyways, Nexus owners be ready to spend some money because newer expansion won't work with Nexus2

 

question to all nexus users,

anyone ever have tried who have a legal nexus 2 with all expansions, to export the expansions to the nexus 2 try before buy nexus,

i know that the expansions are saved in the installtion folder in the preset and sample folder,
its possible to copy and paste the folder s in a nexus 2 try before buy?

Wonder if that will be a once only thing or whether you will need an internet connection every time you use Nexus so they can check your license?

 

I hope the first. Maybe they talked with the developers of Parawave Rapid and Lennar Digital Sylenth1 v3. These have an "only once online activation" too and hasn't been cracked yet.

 

I'm sure Sylenth v3 has been cracked for a long while by some group and they're just keeping it internal. v2.2 works fine in 2019.
And Rapid isn't that relevant.

 

yeah basically it's gone to "if it 's a rompler it has to be shit." most of the time i agree but nexus was an exception to this, the sounds were (and stil are) great, incl the EQ, plenty of friends of mine used it in their productions simply because the sounds were good and they went great into the mix. you can find the album i used it on on spotify and some song on youtube. it's called 'they look to the sky' by statik sky (duh)

That's only your opinion. The classic opinion of people who do not own the synth. I find Rapid 1.7 to be more than relevant.
