How to Update to Waves V11

1. First ensure that your system and DAW support Waves V11.
2. If your Waves licenses are covered by the Waves Update Plan, simply update them to V11 for free. If they are not covered, renewyour coverage first, then update.
3. Once your licenses are updated, install & activate your V11 plugin software.

Please note: V11 plugins are not supported in MultiRack, SoundGrid Studio and StudioRack. V11 plugins are fully supported in the upcoming SuperRack plugin rack and in eMotion LV1 V10.

Good news about Renaissance updates! I hope L2 and SSL collection with big new user interface. All that I use for mixing and mastering.

I wonder if the V10 Mac patch works on this one. Anyone willing to try?

 

Working on Mojave. I uninstalled all V10 stuff. Re-installed via new Waves Central. Ran the Hexwars generator AND replaced the bundle using the WavesLicenseEngine_patch_v2.dmg. run the AU Reg Utility and reboot.

 

No resizable GUI. Sad.

 

I hope they don't f*k up the RBass algorythm that's the only plugin which solves all my problems since 2001 still a must have plugin.

 

Hexwars KG should not be necessary, as it is needed to generate a key for the HW modified waves .bundle plugins only.
There's a W5 patch floating around, btw
I'll try it later and report here.

 

for mac, I think baldman's method should work, or whatever the last method was for 10.x a month or two ago.

 

Oddly enough, CLA Mix Hub now works like it should.

This V11 update better support 4k displays...... im gonna crack their plugins FOR LIFE if they arent going to make their interfaces acually usable and not tiny on 4k displays...
