I would try with solo instruments one by one and dubbing each part from two to four o five times. The Embertone solo strings are good for this. Good luck.

Yeah, that makes sense as they used a 12 piece ensemble in the studio. So it's down to which orchestral library has the best solo strings. I don't want to copy the actual song, I've been experimenting with non-classical string arrangements that aren't too pop-ish.

I'll check out the Embertone stings, thanks

Hey mate, we haven't talked in a while, good to see you :)
I really dig and use Cinematic Studio Solo Strings. I found i love their sound and gui is the most intuitive imho. I even managed to fool my wife with it for a minute hehehe (violin player and teacher)...
Sadly this is not avail in sister site but here's the demo, enjoy:

The next best thing should be the Spitfire Solo Strings, this one's avail in sister site but prepare for a whopping 40gb. Here :

Hope you find what you look for within these :)

    Hey man, how you doing?

Thanks for the great recommendations, I'm mostly a guitar and keyboard player, but I am trying to expand my sound palette in interesting ways, so I will give them a go

    :thanks:

ok so more people are entering or trying to make or reverse the sound that i am also trying to learn / make. so this kinda stuff is useful for me. so I've to comment. i only have inspire 1 & 2 and action strikes only. and Jaeger vocals only. is it enough or i need more. because it's too hard to arrange things unless you know what needs to be done at what point and what hits the mind and makes connection to the listener and what makes it emotional or what ever you're going for.
