Great tune. She‘s kind of a new millenarian hybrid of Enya meeting Portishead, in a global pop universe.

The Who have a new album hitting in November. This cut proves that they are still relevant and rocking in their Who-like way with commentary on social ills.

When I saw videos of iron Maiden the other day, it got me thinking of different ""heavy metal" bands
VS bands that have speed or thrash elements. I am very interested in the development of music from hard rock, heavy metal and the metal genres, their stylistic differences and similarities. I study it with the same musicological interest I have in other musics. In every genre, there are some pearls.
Something that fascinates me about metal is how uplifting or exhilarating it can be! It seems to reach the listener on another level, avery energetic one.
    makes you wanna dance:

This is really exhilarating! A song about the baby from the movie "It's alive!"

this is just plain silly but fun:

Speaking of meditation, when I found out about the benefits of 432 hz, I looked up videos on the subject. There are many on all kinds of different frequencies, aimed at well being, healing and more. Some videos have a musical or melodic accompaniment, and some are just pure frequency.
Very interesting line of study indeed.
I made some experiences myself, trying out different HZ frequencies and modulation settings for two oscillators, playing on the interaction of both. I used Absynth 5
Maybe the therapeutic potential of sound and frequencies could be developed and used, just as that of colors.
Emmanuel Comte is a name that comes to mind about healing music.
    Deuter is another.
. I eventually made some videos with visual effects for some of my recordings:
69hz+49hz (barely audible, very low resonance, it is mostly felt in the body)

    220hz+230hz

    22hz+7hz

    194hz+184hz

Most modern Metal I would only listen to as the live soundtrack in my earbuds if the need arose to go on a murderous rampage to help fuel the adrenaline to get the job done at hand, otherwise I stay away as time and time again am turned off from the inane lyrical content which seems just filler to many times inspired compositions that are interesting due to time signature changes as well as the technical proficiency of the players. I adore Tool.

Seems like Quincy jones said something like : Y0 guys! we need to bring back the music of the 70s with these guys.

fair warning its "pop" or POOP to some. but, its been a longtime since i've heard something like this on this level.
