Latest release on sister site is SoundToys.v5.0.1.10839.WIN.FIXED-AudioUTOPiA from 2016.

SoundToys is currently on v5.3.0 with another announced update by the end of the year :guru:

Well. If you indeed can prove it's v5.3 we have a deal (if it's still on sale).

I was originally gonna post that "given the exchange rate of euros to dollars, you'd probably be paying close to the U.S. retail price of $499 for this license" ... but then, I checked it out and the euro is currently equal to $1.10 USD. And the pound is equivalent to $1.25 USD. For some perspective, last time I was in England, back in 2003, the pound was equal to $2.35 USD and the euro was right around that. Jesus H. Christ, what happened to the global economy?!?

For future reference, if someone is selling a license, the license will generally be whatever the current version is, unless there was some sort of paid update that the seller might not have bought.

In the case of soundtoys, I got ST5 around when it came out and haven't been charged for any updates, including all the free plugs that have been added to my bundle - sieQ, little plate, echoboy jr...

I actually got SieQ when it came out, as it was free for 24 hours or something, only to find that they'd added it to my account automatically and I had a duplicate license of it. No gripes from the guys at soundtoys.

    they're a good company :)

Well, it was sixteen years ago (which, I realize, seems like a goddamn lifetime to you kids, but still ...!), and the rate of inflation should theoretically be consistent regardless of that. So either the dollar got a hell of a lot stronger (HAHAHAHAHA!!!) or the euro and pound both took a fifty percent nosedive in just sixteen years.

Sorry for OT. (thats my opinion btw)

US put pressure on other currencies, because $ was sinking in value around 2010 after the crisis. (as i remember correct), there was even a time, saudi people wanted to price out a barrel oil in euro and right after that - you could see how US put pressure on other currencies.

loool I wasn’t aware of this. I don’t really follow politics. First, they sink the economy with basically sleazy gambling and bailouts, then they fuck with other people’s currency, because if we can’t have nice things neither can you

You know what’s kind of messed up? I’m actually kind of glad, selfishly. I hate buying things in pounds an euros and it was way worse a few years ago
