Since you guys are having so much trouble with this plug, why not try sonible smart comp? Similar concept, plus an excellent compressor.

Uses simple serial activation. im pretty sure it was cracked on like release day. But also its been 50% off for a while. Great plug. Good, fair developer.

 

Why not buy the Soothe? That is what I did. It is not cheap but is not going to break your bank. Great plug. Good fair developer, too.

@darthloud Contact them. I think if you explain your problem they will help you.[email protected] They are good at replying. Alternatively, try the legacy version 1.1.4. You dont need iLok for it.

 

Soothe is unique in how it does what it does.

I don't really have any desire to get it. I was just making a suggestion since guys seem to be having trouble with Soothe. I own Smart Comp which is actually really good in spite of how they marketed it, and I suspect its spectral mode works similar to soothe.

 

My comment wasn't directed at you bro. It was a direct response to your suggestion which was directed to those guys having problems. in other words, I was suggesting that they buy it if they wanted that bad. They are having issues with the DEMO. I purchased the commercial version and had no problems at all. In fact, none of the people that I know and who own it had had any issues with installation and licensing.

 

Not really. Soothe is the ultimate problem solver for resonances. No more harshness on your mix.
