Altar Boy and Primal Tap make up about %75 of my Effects.
even use altar boys Drive as side chain on main vocals sometime.
and primal tap.. well you just dive into that bad boy.

I like using Absynth 5 as a FX.
You just load it and you're ready to go: all synth functions work on your incoming audio!
Some cool percs for me is the 8 surround options, from wide stereo to octophonic.
Apart from all the filters, Absynth 5 has an excellent frequency shifter and ring modulator.
They do much more than just robot or metallic sounds.
The cloud filter (granular) is also really cool, useful for simple pitch tunings, and it can also produce awesomely smooth or very experimental sound textures.
That you can choose to adjust parameters as HZ, TRANS, RATIO or NOTE values, switching between them offers interesting sound possibilities to explore.
The 6 effects are "spatial" in nature.
The controls make a precise level possible, with lots of possible subtilties along the way.
It's also useful to have that many effect possibilities in one plugin!
There are a lot of unexpected twists to make with your sound.
Fun to use, easy flow.
Give that Absynth 5 FX plugin a little try!
