Is it risky to post tracks on the net done with cracked softs (Daws or plugins) ?
I red that there is an octet in softs which allow to know if the soft has been cracked.

listen i have had 10 tracks released with bonzai records, 2011 to 2014, last month 2 track ep with transpired recordings, 2 released today with triplepoint records and 2 released next week with deep groovy music, so no i dont think it matters, all made with cracked vst`s and DAW and sample packs

Probably nobody cares. Don't sweat it, unless you produce the next Ariana Grande track. So instead, consider it ethically. I used to be an indie software developer before I moved to producing music, so I've experienced piracy from the other side. I admit, I've pirated a lot of music plugins (tho not so much recently). And I used those pirated plugins to produce a couple albums. Often I just preview a plugin and decide I don't want to use it, so I try another one. But any plugins that I do want to use on the released album, I ALWAYS buy it. In a couple cases, it was too expensive to buy, so I ended up swapping it out for another instead. Many publishers have benefited from me pirating their warez. Try before you buy. It's a fair compromise, in my view.

Yeah man I mean... Chances are the majority us will never get enough exposure for it to really matter..
But let me tell ya. I been in studio with other rappers and producer before that are way above my stature....
    and they all do it..

I try before I buy.. I own two sound toys plugins intend on pruchasing rest on black friday whats the harm?
If you dont offer a month to month sub plan your begging for it imo.
but stuff you fall in love with DEFINITELY PAY FOR IT.

if you use it constantly and youre broke now buy it later.
Pure intentions muh man its all good

As "who me" mentioned, advice here on this may not have your best interest in mind but from what I understand a crack is per specific version copy so if you want to open the same session down the road you might need the legit copy of your stuff, or face missing plugins. I bought a bunch of stuff that way actually

i once have the same worry over and over again. worst R2R's middle finger message about using crack soft to make money--that keeps haunting me everytime I try to publish/post music made with crack softs.

it then led me to take a journey exploring what possible free/cheap option available today to make music as good as using crack softs. i can't tell more because of spoiler alert but i believe you'll find many surprises that eventually will put away our worry about publishing using crack softs, and make music using free/cheap affordable option instead. i've promised I can't tell more because of spoiler alert, but just to share how exciting it is exploring for free/cheap affordable option to make music and post/publish w/o worry--- it made me discovered about 90 free and useful CM Plugins for just $3.99.. here is the link on how-to if you like.. :shalom:

    This ^

So when you start making money then start buying the plugins you use. They wont do anything if you have bought the plugin. Its the right thing to do anyway.

Do it......maybe one day u will have enough to support the developers you believe in...and you will know the ones worth supporting because you have tested the software without limitations.... I do not think money should be a limit to creativity but if you feel guilty enough there is plenty of great freeware-especially this-which I will always promote as it used to be paid and is now open source and one of the most flexible synths, does wavetable, FM, has great modulation routing and cross platform https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/
