That skin is for FLS20 build 477, it won't work on newer versions.

ps, also found a way to kinda rename that childish "My Projects" into anything else.

I added an nfo file with "Visible=False" to hide it from the browser.
Then I moved the projects from that folder into a subfolder which I again named "Projects" and
then I made a new nfo file for that subfolder, added color, icon and stuff and then I opened up
the file settings in fl studio to add that subfolder and give it the name I want.

Yes, can we please have the Adobe Black skin for FL Studio 20.5? It was a huge hit and so many are requesting it. I personally love working in FL with the Adobe Black skin. So much so that I have to be on the old FL. If it was updated for FL 20.5, we'd be set for another 1+ years before it's worth updating again. Please consider doing this when you have the time! Thank you a ton

That's complicated as there is no way to recreate that skin completely as it was. Most colored parts were hidden in the data
section of FLEngine but that section now is protected with vmp3. So ye, the main colors can be recreated but all the small bits
like the steps in the step sequencer not.

 

Hello, I was hoping someone here may have information on how to edit rcdata for the mac versions of FL20. I've went through this thread but haven't found anything relevant (maybe I missed it, apologies if that the case). My goal is to change the drab grey color to a flat matte black, in theory this should be pretty simple on windows but I wasn't able to find the appropriate files on OSX.

 

Ouch, the best parts were the purple and blue gradient waveforms, the border glow around the step sequencer instruments, the colored step sequencer steps, the mixer coloring, etc. Then it's best to just lete Adobe Black ride off into the sunset then, as it was. Hopefully in the future Image-Line will consider providing skinning tools and opening up their program a bit more. I appreciate that Ableton lets us reskin the entire program. New here, but firstly I want to thank everyone here for the work that had been done to theme FL. Amazing!

I have one singe question, hopefully it's easy to do. I installed the Midnight theme via FL Theme installer and it's beautiful. But, I would like to make a simple change: Is there any way to change the color of the background of the browser? I would like it to be a tad bit darker to match the rest of the theme.

 

Nah, that bg can't get skinned using the skin files.
For such a skin we need the whole flengine.dll unwrapped from VMProtect like it was in FL 12
and the beginning of FL 20. As long as no one is able to unpack flengine, we just can go the way
with the current skins.

@r4e how would one change the color of a samples folder? I tried making an nfo in my main "_MASTERSAMPLES_" folder which then has sub folders but that did not seem to work. Full path looks like this: Z:\_MASTERSAMPLES_

 

You have to place the nfo file in Z:\ (besides your folder you want to recolor)
