Just curious, have tried the BestService one, but wasn't real impressed, wondering if anybody has found one they really liked?

The "Voices" Jampack for Garageband (or included if you installed all the instrument libraries for Logic Pro/Studio) has some whistling instruments, I think.

I am not sure. Somehow all packages/library I have tried just got something that is not good. If I am not wrong Tonehammer made a pretty good "HWS"-Library, that outshined what so far have been made. Just a pitty I can't recall in what lib it's included. Else this third-party Kontakt Instrument might be what you're looking for:

The only direct problem around that library is in my personal opinion, it sounds like a sinewave/flute and is mostly meant for highpitch notes.
Give it a go, tell us what you think? ;)

Give it a go yourself - no need for an expensive library for such a task!

I seem to recollect that the whistling portion of a large library was posted seperately as it was thought to be missing, maybe that would work on its own ?

That is an option that would do the trick :)
    Easy too. Good advice.

You might wanna try a little website called Kontakt Buildz - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post direct links on the Forum so PM me if you wish.

The guy makes up all the libs himself and some of them are pretty good considering it's totally free.

He does some weird ones as well, like a Dumpster Library where he smashes the crap out of a lorry sized skip/bin it and then does some great looping and FX to them.

    Hope that helps,

    JC.

Thanks for the heads-up on that site by the way... no whistling library, but lots of interesting stuff on there.
