I want to put some music on Youtube, but I know people will just end up downloading it. So I need tags like "buy your tracks today" and things like that. I know its kind of corny but it has to be done for certain beats. I know there are some sites that make them, but if anyone knows any packs or has any tags they wouldn't mind sharing it would be appreciated.

You won't stop people downloading. The best you can do is posting a short snippet of the beat or adding random voice samples that identify it as being a preview. Just use text-to-speech software for that or record your own, it's no big deal.

i would be more worried if someone deleted my name from a remix i did few weeks back and renamed it as his own work
and this actually did happened now many times with a user liking my work and post my song on youtube and gets 6k hits,
and not to mention it was badly remixed heheh

    solution ?
30 seconds of your track can generate interest if its so good so they can subscribe and hit likes
and you should keep your channel alive with posting demos from your tracks every now and then

    good luck

The best way is to speak in some specific parts of the track: BUY THE TRACK, and UPLOADED IN YOUTUBE BY
    This will make them crazy!!!

well, I would certainly paste them on places where they cant cut and paste a verse & refrain together themselves. (something I used to do on a regular basis:yes:)
My advice is to put the volume of your tags low so they don't kill the whole vibe, and maybe inserting a tiny bit of delay to make it even harder to cut out.

I should of been more clear, I do want them download it. I just want it to have enough voice tags to where they can't rap over it without buying it. I don't think posting a snippit would be the best idea, because I want them to hear the entire beat, as my beats have a lot of changes and things of the sort. The TTS is the first thing I thought of but I know I can find something a little less generic sounding.

@Kwissbeats I will check out that pack, thanks!

    PM sent!

Burn in your isrc code, tags wont do anything for you, also you want to generate revenue no matter where it gets reuploaded and track your songs (not you personally) all over the world so you can cash in. (internet, radio, tv, etc..)

    P.R.O. + Copyright + ISRC code

None of the metadata is present in a track once it's uploaded to any platform. Not on Soundcloud, not on YouTube, no where. It's only embedded in the MP3 that you personally deliver to someone. That's it.

If they go ahead and upload it somewhere... well, the metadata doesn't travel or transfer with that file!!

To prove my point... I just went and ripped two audio files from Soundcloud and YouTube and then opened one up with iTunes and the other with Fission. Neither one had ANY metadata. I know this for a fact because one of these tracks is mine and ALL of my tracks are embedded with P.R.O. IPI's, my contact info, my publishing company, my copyright, track info, etc.

    Here's the proof:

Upload it to tunecore, add your isrc code or they will give you one, that is an option and then distribute it trough them.
I think it also depends with which software you use to burn it in, some do get lost if not done correctly.

One way to obtain it is trough the official channels they will generate your unique code, based on where you live, date of creation of the song, etc.
Hofa cd burn in master, i think wavelab pro does it as well, or your mastering engineer if you ask him.

Qrchack is right, people will kye your stuff, the best thing you can do is make a tag that's is not only recognizable, but promotes you. I see kids just putting their catch-phrase tags on their beats a lot, but they're not promoting themselves with "and that's how you bring in the hats," (or something equally random,) because some of them think that they're so famous already in their own mind that they think anyone who rocks it online will know it's them--it's the epitome of stupid.
So, yeah, anything that promotes who you are should be put in enough that no one can take a chunk and sample it, as well. I didn't do that with one of the few tracks I posted up for mass public listening a few years ago (as opposed to select groups of people on targeted sites,) and went through hell trying to get YouTube video/song taken down after some shitbag kyped it off of my Soundcloud and posted it as his music/video track on YouTube (someone who I didn't now alerted me on Soundcloud--nice of him.) Youtube gave me tons of grief because it was a remix (of Living Legends "Blast Your Radio,) and since it wasn't my song, they didn't really give a shit that it was my track under the a capella; frustrating.
Anyway--good luck with your search for a tag. May I recommend getting a female friend of yours with a sexy voice to put out a promo tag over your tracks? It's not the worst idea ever.

I believe the upload time stamp on YouTube etc gives you a form of copyright. Then if you see the beat pop up anywhere you can submit a takedown notice to the site admins and they usually take it down no problem. Has worked for me in the past.
